Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge, Lake Tahoe

10/10 Excellent

"The location was perfect."

The Inn at Truckee

8/10 Good

"The hotel is older and you can tell in some spots. There was stains on the bed frame and the shower had some damage around the walls. The property was quiet even though there was construction nearby. Breakfast was slim pickins. Overall was a good place for us staying just a night. They were welcoming of dogs too :)"

Lake Escape - Beautiful Lakefront, Pier, Buoy, Private Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily come back!Michelle was incredibly helpful from the very beginning — she called us shortly after we completed the booking to make sure everything was in order. We stayed for three nights at the end of September 2026, and the house was even more beautiful and picturesque in person than it looked in the photos. The house was spotless and extremely well equipped. There was plenty of coffee and pods (even though we brought our own), a kettle, and what felt like a million towels! The hot tub was already warm and ready to use when we arrived. The deck was fantastic, with the hot tub, a table with an umbrella, chairs, and lounge chairs — everything we could possibly need to enjoy the view. And the view is truly incredible. The window offers an amazing panorama, and having our own private pier was such a special touch. Safeway is literally a minute away, which was incredibly convenient. The Wi-Fi was a little inconsistent, but our cell service worked well enough that it wasn’t an issue for us. We enjoyed walking along the shoreline and along the road on this side of the house. We also saw signs of the local wildlife, but thankfully the bears did not bother us at all. Everything was clean, comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would absolutely recommend this place!"
