Top Taguaguipe Hotel Reviews

hotel santa maria by La Carolina

10/10 Excellent

"Buen desayuno, y habitación limpia y cómoda"

La Quinta by Wyndham Quito

10/10 Excellent

"The location of this hotel was even better than what we previously read, across the street from Quicentro Mall, next to a drugstore, right on the Shyris Avenue with easy access to Uber and Taxi. You are a two minute walk from the Double-Decker Quito Tour Bus departure and arrival Stop, the Quito Subway and many bus stops located at the Naciones Unidas main avenue, and within a short walk of the famous Parque La Carolina. On top of this wonderful location, the hotel was clean, the food at the breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options, the rooms are clean with sound proof windows and the beds are extremely comfortable. But what separates this hotel from the rest is their friendly staff. From Alexandra and Karen at the dinning area to René and José Luis at the bell service they all went above and beyond. One more thing, even though we felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood before midnight, the hotel has a 24/7 armed security guard at the entrance. We will definitely stay here again."

Hotel República

8/10 Good

"Overall, it's a good hotel. The staff is excellent. It has a good restaurant with a very good breakfast, and it also serves lunch and dinner. The room has heating, which keeps it a bit too hot for my liking. The television connects to streaming services, and the internet signal is strong throughout the hotel. The hotel is very well located, just steps from La Carolina Park, Quito's largest park, and a few blocks from shopping centers. Unfortunately, an overpass right in front of the hotel entrance affects the surroundings."

Sheraton Quito Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel benefits from an excellent location just across the street from the Quicentro shopping centre and all of its cafes and restaurants. It is a great spot to start exploring the city and is in a generally safe area. There are security guards outside the property and overall you will find that this is a safe hotel. The property is a good size, with 136 bedrooms so it is a nice intimate space with about 14 rooms on each floor meaning this is not a bustling and chaotic hotel, which is great. The rooms are well maintained and the room I stayed in benefitted from a very comfortable king size bed and a great walk in shower. The hotel is definitely very comfortable and offers a great 24 hour reception. This is definitely the best hotel in this area of Quito. This remains one of the best overall and I would put this 3rd place overall in the city, just behind the JW Marriott and Swissotel Quito, but this certainly offers a better area to stay than the other two which are not in the best areas."
