Hotel was just outside Dinan, so easy walk into town, if needed. Reception staff were very friendly & helpful, especially with providing details about the area locally & further afield. Hotel & room kept very clean. Good choices for breakfast, which was excellent.

Good weekend break.

Hotel is excellent. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Reception and restaurant staff could not do enough to help with anything we asked for. Food for breakfast and dinner was of a high quality and well presented. The room had a safe and fridge, with a level access shower. Only problem was the control for the heating and air conditioning was faulty and they could not get anyone to look at it during our weekend stay. We would recommend the hotel and would be happy to return.

One night stay

Comfortable room even though we were put in the old building. If you are going for the pool then thus building is two buildings away from it. Parking simple and easy drive into town

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Die Öffnungszeiten des Pools sind wohl dem Service (Reinigung) und dem Ruhebedürfnis der Gäste in der Mittags- und Abendzeit geschuldet. Der Chlorgehalt des Leitungswassers schankte ziemlich, es roch manchmal fast unerträglich nach Chlor und Wasser zu trinken war immer unangenehm. Im Bad waren zu wenige Haken für die Handtücher, eine Trocknungsmöglichkeit für die Bademäntel ist nicht vorgesehen. So haben wir abwechselnd geduscht, eine morgens, eine abends. um einigermaßen trockene Handtücher zu haben. Das Reinigungspersonal für die Zimmer war stark (über-)belastet wg der großen Frequenz von Bus-Touristen. Angenehm war, dass diese einen extra Speisesaal hatten und auch in einem extra Trakt wohnten. So war die Nachtruhe gegeben und das Gedränge am Büffett hilet sich in Grenzen.. An einem frühen Abend gab es Feueralarm, der an der Rezeption nicht bemerkt wurde, als wir unsere Zimmer verlassend, dort vorsprachen. Nur wenige Hotelgäste verließen wie wir das Hotel. Der "Hotelmanager" ging dem Grund des Alarms nach und sagte uns danach, jemand habe mit Haarspray zu nahe am Rauchwarnmelder hantiert. - Angenehm sind die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich. Wenig schön eine nicht detailierte Rechnung bzw. gar kei ne, nur der Beleg über die Summe der erfolgten Abbuchung.

A fuir une catastrophe, un restaurant qui n'est même pas digne d'une cantine "couscous de la mer" à 19 euros avec beaucoup beaucoup de se moules et 3 petits petits morceaux de poissons surgelés alors que nous sommes en bord de mer, "crumble" à 8 euros ni n'a que le nom..... La cliente a côté de moi avait pris une brochette qui était brûlé en extérieur et cru à l'intérieur et le serveur trouvait bizarre qu'elle la retourne..... Une réceptionniste qui vous dit le matin "c'est pourquoi ?????" au lieu de vous dire "bonjour". Je suis restée 2 nuits le premier jour j'ai emmene une tasse de café en chambre et le soir en rentrant elle était toujours là...... Ne pensez pas vous régaler au petit déjeuner les viennoiseries sont brûlées..... Je fais 200 nuits d'hôtel par an et j'ai rarement vu un Best Western aussi médiocre...... Bref à fuir......

We chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool and contacted the team a couple weeks before the trip to check it would be opened which they confirmed it would be. The night before our stay the hotel reception team sent an email to advise the pool was closed. As we were in our travels we did not find out before our arrival. Even if we received it, it left no time for a change of plans when coming from abroad and after an overnight crossing and a long trip we were exhausted. We had the opportunity to change hotels or cancel but it would have wasted valuable time on our short stay. The next morning I complained about the lack of notice and whilst we had been ungraded to a brand new room and it was very comfortable, I felt the value at about €90a night was poor for a stay in an industrial area, our of town with no swimming pool. The hotel offered 10% off the stay or to cancel our second night if we preferred to. Our trip wasn't what we had wanted it to be as with a baby on the way it was our last occasion to go away. The reception staff put a lot of effort in encouraging us to use the sauna which is a no at 4 months pregnant. We were disappointed by the late notice and the hotels response to our complaint which made our stay very underwhelming for no fault of our own. We would have chosen a cheaper hotel in Dinan town centre as the value for money was very poor. I would add that whilst the food for lunch was fresh and tasty it was mostly meat based and had zero vegetarian option
