Thank you so much for allowing us to host our baby shower this weekend. It was the perfect space for us to invite family over for the afternoon and utilize your kitchen to cook and family room to spend time together. Was a great space and so cozy.

This was a wonderful property. Great for a family with littles. Only one bathroom but for a few days that was fine with us. The washer and dryer in the basement was a great amenity to have! Would definitely stay there again!

Cute, clean, and quiet

This house was so cute. It is in a nice neighborhood. It’s clean, quiet, the beds are comfortable. Everything was great. Only one very small complaint, the kitchen is not stocked with any spices, or staples, but we weren’t staying long.

Stay at Tacoma House

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable and being an old house it had it's delightful quirks. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and it was nice sitting on the porch and relaxing. It's close to many restaurants with some in walking distance. The only drawback is that the stairs in the basement (where the washer & dryer are located) and the backyard are steep and uneven so you need to be careful walking down them.

Pleasurable Proctor

It was a wonderful stay and surpassed the memories of living in the area 8 years ago. Our host was great and super responsive. We had an issue with the TV remotes. He was right on it and ordered new ones. Then they "appeared ". This occurred all during the stay because of our children. If you cook like myself, there is a multitude of cookware and dishes. You will need a quick trip to the Metropolitan Market and Safeway just a few blocks away. Get your groceries and settle in for a seriously comfortable cute home away from home.

We stayed in this home and it was fine. In a good location for our visit to the university but some small issues. We never heard from the owner - before, during or after. I asked a question in the app and never got a response. We arrived to a completely dark house. It was late and not welcoming at all. The house had what we needed but furnishings, including attic bed just on the floor left room for improvement. I did laundry in the washer but the dryer was broken so I had wet clothes to pack. This home wasn't a great fit for us.

Very cute house in a great location, not great for kids

We really loved this house and the location. I am originally from Tacoma and it is tough to beat this location and these gorgeous craftsman houses. A few cons: We had our 2.5 and 5 year old with us and there were no conveniences for them (pack and play, high chair, reusable plastic cups/plates, etc). I loved this property as an adult and think maybe it’d be better suited for families with older kids. There was no water filtration system like a Brita or filter on the fridge so we had to buy endless bottles of water during our stay because the tap water didn’t taste great (this obviously isn’t the most environmentally-friendly option). I shared some feedback about some challenges that we had with the garbage disposal and didn’t find the response to be very friendly. Overall, the communication was satisfactory. We enjoyed our stay—Nice house, great location, just a few items that could have made it a 5 star review.

Very stingy with supplies. Otherwise, great location, cleanliness and communication.

For a family of 4, staying for 6 nights, we were given 6 Keurig K-cups and ONE extra roll of toilet paper (other supplies were also strictly rationed). I emailed twice to ask for extra supplies and both times was told, “we only supply you enough to get started.” I can understand purchasing your own coffee, but there a should be standard coffee maker if people don’t want to purchase expensive, wasteful K-cups. In my opinion, not supplying enough toilet paper is inexcusable. At the very least, there should be a warning that says this is your one and only roll of toilet paper. Our 7-year-old had to wait in the bathroom while I ran to the store to buy more toilet paper. Ridiculous.
