First, the staff was amazing. Everybody was so nice and accommodating. After being in Tacoma unexpectedly for my mom’s medical emergency, the staff was more than helpful finding ways to accommodate my stay during such a stressful time. We will be back in a few months for follow up appointments and I know where we will be staying.

Love how convenient this hotel is. Super close to the train station and the Tacoma Dome. It's also been recently renovated so everything feels good and looks nice overall. Buffet breakfast is nice with some different options. Only complaints is because the train station is close it can be noisy. Also in the room we stayed in the windows weren't sealed properly and there was a bit of a draft coming through the room.

The hotel was great, you cannot beat the location if you're going to an event at the Tacomadome. It's close to Alfred's Cafe, best breakfast I've had in my life. The downside : There is a methodone clinic literally across the street from the hotel so you see drug addicts roaming the streets yelling at invisible people and breaking into cars. I'd still stay here, but don't park your car on the street.

This hotel has seriously become so much better than it was. I refuse to stay there the past few years because my car was broken into in the garage. This place is top-notch now. The garage is secure. Everything is working well, including the elevators. The rooms have been updated. And everything is clean. The staff is very good and efficient. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel appears to be going through an upgrade/remodel. Feels way cleaner then what it was before. Front desk staff were great! It seemed like room service came in to give fresh towels but didn't really do anything else with the room.

When we were there, only one if the elevators was working and doors to some of the staircases that are fire exits were locked. A worker let us through but it appeared they were using this staircase as a staging area for ongoing renovations. Blocking a fire exit is completely unacceptable. Fires in large buildings like this poorly managing their safety exits could result in many people being trapped inside. There was still drywall tape behind the toilet that had been plastered over. Everything was otherwise extremely clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. Better indicators for overflow parking or signage outside directing traffic because the garage was full would also have been nice. This wouldn't stop me from staying here again, but I'd wait until they are done renovating to give them my business again. Compromising the safety of guests for this was unacceptable, and the wait times at the elevator sometimes exceeded 5 minutes.
