Convenient hotel in Szczecin center

It is a modern, clean hotel - typical Ibis - you know what to expect. The staff is very friendly. The location is great. I didn't have to take a public transit to any attraction that I wanted to visit. Close to many restaurants and Szczecin Old Town.

Was informed at check in that there was no record of my reservation. Eventually traced after producing email with booking reference number. No apology received! Room was fine apart from heater was noisy and could not be turned off or adjusted.

Good and basic

The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. A good choice for breakfast, both hot and cold dishes plus bean to cup coffee which is a great start to the day. A convenient place to stay in the centre of Sczeczin. Good value for money, you get what you pay for.

Getting worse

I return to this hotel after my previous stay two weeks ago. If the first time I was impressed and pleased with this hotel, the second time I wasn't so lucky. The main issue was that it was cold in my room. The heating system wasn't working properly. I called the maintenance and finally, on the second day, they provide me another room. No change. Still cold. I got a heater but no much improvement. That was it!

Mein erster Eindruck war bereits sehr unerfreulich: Das Zimmer war sehr kalt... und blieb kalt. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut, dennoch hat sie das Zimmer nicht warm gemacht?!! Das Duschbad hatte gar keine Heizung. Ich finde das überhaupt nicht gut: auf kalten Fliesen in Kälte morgens zu duschen... auch nicht abends ;) Es war eisig, ja. Kein Wasserkocher im Zimmer 😬 Zwar wurde keiner versprochen. Aber ich habe nicht gewusst, dass man darauf gezielt achten muss. Die Rezeption hat den Boten mit bestelltem Essen nicht erlaubt nach oben zu kommen. Ich musste mehrmals runter laufen.Total unpraktisch.
