"Heaven in Ortigia! Carmelo was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute in this thoughtfully appointed, spacious and welcoming home. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to all of Ortigia’s beautiful sights and restaurants, as well as very easily accessible to Siracusa and the train/bus stations by cab (5 minutes, 15 Euro) or foot (15-20 mins). We will always remember our magical stay in Ortigia and we can’t wait to come back to Apollo House. Grazie!!"

We did have trouble getting in and couldn't contact the owners but after some time managed to get in (the issue was an internet issue making it difficult for us to log on to get the code for keys). However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the Expedia website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text.
