You could smell the Finger Lakes coffee there was a big I Love NY icon to take pictures and brochures and interactive screens to plan your Upstate New York visit. Also it’s uniquely located in America’s (6th largest mall is what I was told, but definitely the biggest mall I have ever seen). You could also purchase all sorts of regional small farm to table food. Very cool!

The biggest problem was that most of the towels and linens had hair on them of some sort. Hair that was not mine. The towels in the bathroom were still wet from the laundry service. The shower barely worked. What saved the stay was the morning staff that I had. She was very sweet and caring.

The room was clean. The bed was comfy. But the in room heater was not ok. It had. A peculiar smell when I turned it on. I can’t really describe it, but think old dust. We were awake watching tv when it turned on but it was not hot air/heat. It was ice cold. I double checked and the thermostat was set for 70, the thermometer read 68, (it had worked appropriately when I first turned it on, despite the smell). I increased the temp settings but it continued to blow cold air. I will say the blower motor/fan works very well , it was very powerful. This happened on my second night there. I had only intended to stay 1 night but I was not feeling well, I booked an additional night online called the front desk to let them know I had payed online. The lady who answered wanted me to come down and pay the deposit for the second night. I told her I would when I got up, (checkout is 11am I had time to go back to sleep) I knew I was not feeling well , but I truly did not expect to sleep until 4pm. I showered and went to lobby to pay the additional deposit around 5pm. It was around 11pm the heater malfunctioned. After being sick all day

The room was ok the bathroom was dirty! Never had any towels . No towels at the pool , if you ask for something, it’s like you’re bothering the front desk! The man who cleans up on my floor was very nice and helpful! And a woman I think is a manager was helping me as well ! Very nice place just think they need more help ! And a young Indian woman said I had to pay a 100 deposit I couldn’t understand for what but I pd for it and never received it back !! I’m still waiting
