This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for the rest of the day. Even if you drive, you're looking at a significant drive into town to find a normal restaurant or bar. There are small markets near the facility, but they also require a car to reach them. I was completely amazed by the staff, however. They helped me every single moment of my stay, including how to secure pizzas on a couple nights to prevent myself from starving!

We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background! Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy! Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to.

Great stay and location for sights and beaches

Aparthotel itself was great - small (c.10 rooms) so quiet and plenty of space to enjoy. Good pool and nice gardens, all stylishly laid out. Decor was understated (basic to some but I liked the style) and lots of palm tress etc. Location is quiet and a nice view but only downside is have to drive everywhere for restaurants, shops, beaches etc. Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Super Unterkunft im schönen Plemmirio

Auf unserem Trip auf Sizilien sind wir im schönen Plemmirio bei Barbara im Borgo Marino gelandet. Sehr schöne Anlage mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Barbara gab uns sehr wertvolle Tipps v.a. für Strände in der Nähe. Auf der Anlage war es sehr ruhig, sauber und familiär. Das Morgenbuffet war ebenfalls sehr gut und die Angestellte sehr aufmerksam für die Gäste. Ich würde sofort wieder das Borgo Marino besuchen.
