Avalon Beach itself is a popular beach with golden sands surrounded by bustling streets that reflect the surf lifestyle of the area; surf shops, homeware boutiques, wholefood stores, bookstores, seafood joints and intimate cafes, for endless exploration. Head 10 minutes up the road to Palm Beach for its iconic lighthouse walk and further dining options, such as The Boathouse for a relaxed waterside brunch, or Dunes for a casual yet elegant meal with fresh, seasonal dishes.
