The room and hotel in general were old, falling apart and dirty. The breakfast was lacking and the food looked gross. The hot water was chlorinated tap water and wasn't drinkable. The workout room was a joke as most of the equipment was inoperable. The only positive I can add is the staff members were very polite and nice.

Okay stay.

Overall it fit our needs but I don’t think we’ll return in the future. The pull out sofa was broken. The cushions were stained and one cushion was torn. When we went to pull out the sofa bed, the spring fell off and we could not hook it back together because the entire piece that supports the mattress was already worn and it looked like it had been repaired multiple times. The entire hotel could use an update. I went to use the workout room which was crowded with equipment that did not work. There was no circulation in the room but I was able to use the recumbent bike. The staff were super friendly and kind. That was the best part.

Great staff! Great Breakfast! Unfortunately the elevator wasnt working during our stay, so we had to use the stairs. This wasnt a problem and understandable; hiwever, with the constant traffic of people using the stairs, the cleanliness was impacted and no attention was paid to cleaning the stairs. Over all it was a great experience nice staff and breakfast was great for tge price. I would stay again.

Broken hotel

Hotel is terrible disrepair. Beds were completely broken and very itchy. Sunken in the middle of each bed. Couch bed was broken. We did not sleep and had a long day on the road the next day. Breakfast was decent. Tile broken in bathroom. Staff was apologetic.

Disappointing

Not comparable to other Holiday Inn Express hotels we’ve stayed in before. Shower was awful, elevator didn’t work, out of hand soap, and breakfast was awful. Staff were friendly, room was clean, but hotel needs serious updating.

Love that Holiday Inn trying to keep up the modernity of their properties. This is on the interstate so it is noisy. The property is very clean but starting to show its age- bathroom a little moldy, seams in the drywall showing, cabinetry peeling the stain. But it’s a good night sleep and a great breakfast

Had room with two queen beds and sofa bed. Room was spacious but bet felt smaller than queen and also room had some what of a smoke smell. Other than that staff was great. Did have a problem with the elevator it was out service and we was on 3rd floor made it difficult .

Needs some upkeep

Great service from the front desk, however the property was in need of repairs and general upkeep. The weeds and grass were overgrown, one of the beds was broken, exterior window was broken and no room darkening shades present, the hot tub was out of order, and the pool was freezing. Again, the front desk was very kind and attentive, but the overall state of the hotel is what needs attention.

Has Potential

The hospitality was next to none! The lady at the service desk and the lady making breakfast were awesome! However, the beds in our room were terrible. They looked like they were about to fold in half. The had a terrible dip in the middle all the way across. Not comfortable at all. They definitely need to upgrade them.

Elevator was not working and we were on 3rd floor. Pails in stairwell to our room catching rainwater coming through leaking roof. Took almost 20 minutes for check in, no idea why. A/c in room sounded like a freight train. No a/c in breakfast room, just a little stand up fan. Don’t blame the staff, they were very sweet.

This property is not up to what I expect from Holiday Inn Express. The front desk staff worked really hard to help us with a couple of issues. The property looks fine from outside but inside needs attention. Damaged walls in the hallway and icky paint color. The pool was closed for maintenance, the exercise room had only one machine working properly and not much else to use. Breakfast was similar to what we had in Lubbock on our outbound trip but lacked some options, like oatmeal and pastries were ok but not as good. We could hear the people in the next room.
