"We only stayed for one night so bear that in mind! Pros: The place was very tidy, area very quiet and peaceful, and the beds were very comfortable. Cons: The first most noticeable issue was the smell; there a very strong dog smell, but not just the normal amount, it smelt of urine! :( Not sure if maybe the people that stayed before had a pet that had an accident but it was overwhelming. "Jennifer is an incredible host! We were having issues with locking the door, but she came in as soon as she could to fix the door lock for us. She’s incredibly easy to contact and is always willing to go the length as a host!The house is also very clean and has a lot of appliances that make cooking easy. It’s a great property with nice outdoor seating options. "

"This is the second year my daughter and I have stayed at this cottage and we love it! It's a great space, plenty of room and super cute! The outdoor space is awesome too - grill, porch with lots of seating and fire pit area, again with lots of seating. The cottage is a short drive from lots of cool shops and restuarants too. "

"For those that want to disconnect for a while, this is the place. The cabin is just right. The wood stove kept us super toasty and we took several hikes through the woods leaving right from the cabin. I highly recommend this property for those that just want a quiet space to reflect and relax. "

Cozy Couples Farmhouse Cottage- Minutes walk from Swain Ski Resort

Just right for us

"The location was perfect for the beautiful state parks to the west and the east. The farmhouse cottage provided everything without obligating us to rent a place much larger than we needed. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep needing to be managed with care. If we were skiers we wouldn’t hesitate to return! We really appreciated Richie and Shannon’s quick response to our requests. "

"Comfortable, old-fashioned motel (I was having nostalgia for road trips with my parents in the 60s and 70s) in great condition in a beautiful little town. I was traveling on business in Geneseo (about 20 minutes up the road), but was glad I stayed here in Perry. If you like vintage motor-hotels, you will love the Park Lake Motel!"
