“Surf Mist at Surf Beach” is a delightful double-storey family home in Surf Beach just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
A long central hallway provides access to Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 (each with BIR), internal access into the Garage, a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer), a Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet. At the rear of the home, is the fantastic Rumpus Room (with 55" smart TV, some books & games & a coonara-style wood heater) that flows through to the Rear Deck.
Upstairs is the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Family Room (with 55" smart TV) that provides access to the covered Balcony. Also on this level is the main Bedroom which features a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet) plus a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The rear fully covered Deck (with gas BBQ, bar fridge & seating for 6) overlooks the enclosed rear yard (perfect for children and pets alike) which features a wood fired Pizza oven, a spring-free trampoline and a hot/cold outdoor shower. Enjoy the delightful Bay and rural views from the upstairs covered Balcony (with 6-seater table & outdoor couch). There is direct access into the home from the double Garage (with table tennis table and couch). There is space to park 4 - 5 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, full sized fridge and a bar fridge (on the rear Deck), dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners in both of the downstairs Rumpus Room and the upstairs Living Rroom, ceiling fans in all four Bedrooms, plus four additional stand-alone heaters which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 7 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): Two sets of Single bunks
The downstairs Rumpus Room has a Queen sofa bed, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
