There was a mix up due to overbooking and we had to be brought to town and stay at another place. I assume the problem was fue to Expedia and not the river camp. It's nice accomodations and great food. Expedia problens are the rule and not the exception.

When we arrived we had to wait an hour and half in garden to then learn that they had double booked so could we all share one room for the first night They put 2 single mattresses on the floor . Felt v sorry for another couple who were bumped to a tent .

Value for the money

Value for the money! Very nice cozy place on the riverside in the jungle. There is no outdoor pool as the homepage is writing. It is around 10 minutes drive to the next village. This information has not been corrected so far. Bathroom is falling apart. But taken the low price into consideration I would recomment this Hotel, since the location was nice and the staff was very nice and helpfull with organizing trips f.ex. and the food was really nice too.

In 30 years of travel in Asia I have never had a worse experience. The staff was awful. If we did something outside of the hotel they were angry. It felt like the put leg irons on you the min we arrived. The hotel is an hour away from the pier at the lake. The only options for meals in the area was to eat at the hotel. We were some what limited due to last min. Everyone we talked to at this place was unhappy and would not return. Khao Sok is amazing. Just wish we stayed anywhere else.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Fluss gelegen. 7km vom Nationalpark entfernt was aber kein Problem war, da ich eine Tour vom Hotel aus gebucht habe da ist die An und Rückfahrt mit dabei gewesen. Ich hatte eine ganz liebe Gastgeberin. Sie hat super Englisch gesprochen, war total herzlich. Ich habe dort auch sehr lecker gegessen. Die haben dort eine gute Speisekarte mit viel Auswahl. Auch Frühstück ist top. Man muss dazu sagen, dass es in der Natur ist. Abends sehr viele Fliegen und Insekten. Im Zimmer hatte ich zwei kleine Geckos, die aber anscheinend nicht giftig sind :) Tolle Unterkunft am Dschungelerlebnis

Confortável com atendimento atencioso

No primeiro momento o hotel decepciona, na descrição coloca que possui piscina o que não é verdade. O quarto é amplo e muito quente durante o dia, quando chegamos encontramos o ar condicionado já ligado. O hotel fica distante do centro da cidade, mas todos os dias disponibiliza um transporte que te leva as 18h e te busca às 21h. O restaurante do hotel é gostoso e tem um bom preço. Tom gentilmente nos serviu café da manhã antes do horário, pois nosso transporte saía às 7h.

Welcome to the jungle

We had a fantastic 3 night's here it is perfect if you want to escapse into the jungle for a couple of days. Its slightly out of town but they do offer a driving service which is great. We only used it once and we enjoyed staying somewhere quiet for a few days! The family that run it are so helpful and friendly, they helped us book some fanstaic days out! The restaurant has a great menu and is very well priced. Would definitely recommend!

Super freundliches Personal. Integriertes Restaurant mit vernünftigen Preisen und leckerem Essen. Sehr idyllisch und ruhig gelegen. Zimmer waren wie auf den Fotos. Die Familie bietet einen kostenlosen Fahrservice an...sehr löblich aber auch ein muss da es knapp 10 Autominuten von dem Parkeingang entfernt liegt. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft. Ausflüge waren jetzt nicht so der Knaller. Wandern im Nationalpark ruhig auf eigene Faust ausprobieren. Wege sind klar ausgeschildert und begehbar. Sehen tut man das gleiche und man ist ungebundenen. Geht man am späten morgen bzw. Frühen Vormittag sieht man auch noch einige Tiere. Die Tour zum See war eher enttäuschend. Knapp 1 Stunde Hinfahrt im Bus mit Stop bei einem Touri-Markt und dann noch eine Stunde Longtailboot...die berühmten Felsformationen sieht man nur knapp 15 Minuten. Das schwimmende Restaurant gleicht eher den Slums und ist weit weit weg von den Felsen.. Durchgenudelte und dreckige Matratzen. Keine Liegemöglichkeiten für Tagestouren. Die Wanderung war eine Hetze. Das Wasser rund um das Restaurant ist durch die vielen Boote verschmutzt und man sieht einen Ölfilm auf dem Wasser. Kanus/Kajaks gibt es knapp 6 Stück...für 70 Touris. Passt irgendwo nicht. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach für die Tonne.

This hotel is absolute fantastic. We stayed here for two nights to explore the Khao Sok national park. The staff picked us up at the bus stop and helped us to bring our stuff into the bungalow. The bungalow was very clean, airconditioned and big. We felt like home. No problems with moskitos or other animals like spiders. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They are sooooo lovely and cute. Helping with everything. Taking care of you and giving food advices. Would definetly recommend to stay there to explore the national park as you can also book nice trips to the lake or the Jungle with their help. Hope to see you again. A big THANK YOU!

Heel hartelijk ontvangen en uitstekend verzord gedurende het gehele verblijf. Gratis taxi service door de eigenaar naar het 10 km verderop gelegen dorp bij de ingang van het nationale park.. Extra fruit bij het ontbijt en gratis koffie en thee. Hele lieve mensen die door hun inzet het verblijf extra aangenaam hebben gemaakt. Enorm bedankt daarvoor.

New and clean, good location - superb

very warm welcome, picked us up from the bus stop and drove us to the very clean, new and nice apartments including air condition. Just had a very delicious dinner, for a reasonable price (100 Baht chicken and rice - in my opinion superb) A small market is around the corner and we can hike from here into the park. Can only recommend this place.
