Summary:
With an unparalleled position in the very heart of iconic Hastings St, this modern Noosa Heads apartment is an entrée and invitation to the coast’s highest-profile attractions. But your favourite destination might prove to be a little closer to home – your very own balcony.
The Space:
Sitting on the second level of the prestige Fairshore complex, the two-bedroom getaway is a picture-perfect example of designing for a seamless blend of indoor lifestyle and outdoor charm.
The ambience begins with the bedrooms, which sit at the back of the apartment to offer a sense of privacy and a place to carve out moments of ‘me time’ in the most appealing of surrounds. Touches of ocean across cushions and bedlinens enhance the design theme.
In the kitchen, which anchors the open-plan living zone, there is room enough for family and friends to team up and turn fresh local produce and gourmet goodies into delicious, even decadent, fare. A dining zone is the perfect place to tuck into your creations, before retiring to the adjacent lounge for coffee, a chat or maybe even a cocktail or champagne.
From there it’s but a few short steps out to the balcony, where the picturesque panorama is the material of dreams and postcards. Think cloudless blue skies, tropical palms swaying in cool breezes, golden sands fringing the shallows and the enticing depths of Laguna Bay as it reaches for the horizon. It’s a view that affords the kind of deep breath you can only take outside your everyday hustle and bustle, and one that can hold attention for a minute, an hour or even longer. And, with a sunlounger to rest on and a table and chairs set up for meals, card games, drinks and more, there’s almost no need to ever go back inside.
Across the complex, features for the enjoyment of guests include a sparkling pool and spa, alfresco barbecue zone, gym and lawn galore for children to run around on. There’s also direct access through to Main Beach, where the sands you admired from up on high can squelch between your toes and the water that glinted in the sun offers a cooling embrace. With a surf break and Noosa National Park also in easy walking distance, the wonders of wild life are yours to explore and experience. Or, make the switch from nature to nurture with a stroll along Hastings St, discovering its enticing mix of vibrant retailers and its treasure trove of restaurants, whose chefs have helped the local culinary scene carve out an international reputation.
As you wander, keep an eye out for treasures to take home, moments you can turn into memorable photographs and, most of all, a good book that simply begs to be read. After all, with your home away from home encompassing that oh-so magnificent balcony, you’ve got the perfect spot to read it.
