PALM COTTAGE - Sleeps 4 - ESCAPE THE COLD; OUR POOL IS HEATED!

The Palm Cottage is a standalone unit which is next to the pool and near the outdoor shower. It has been recently renovated. The main room includes a Queen sized bed, TV, table with 4 chairs, a full kitchen, full bath with a walk-in shower. The front room has a trundle bed with two twin mattress and a TV. There is a laundry room on the property for our guests to use that is free of charge.

It can comfortably sleep 3 people. Just outside the front door is an outdoor table and chairs. The unit is air conditioned and WiFi service is available throughout the resort. Enjoy the communal outdoor pool and covered patio that has a gas grill, griddle and picnic area.

For those who would like to venture out to the beach, the unit has 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler and beach towels for your convenience.

Guest may request to have their pet, 1 dog of 40 pounds or less, accompany them on their vacation and will be required to sign and abide a pet occupancy agreement as well as pay $75 in additional cleaning fees for the in-depth cleaning required after a dog has stayed in the unit. Guests that bring a dog that has not been pre-approved by management or do not follow resort rules will be asked to leave the resort and all payments will be forfeited.

Fishing adventures, bird watching, water sports or some down time relaxing in nature and the beauty of the most desired key in Florida. We’re twenty-five miles to Key West for dinner and nightlike or walk down the block to the local tiki bar, Tonio’s.

We have plenty of space for your boat and trailer. There is a boat ramp just down the block at Tonio's that can handle flat boats 21' or smaller and the boat ramps at Cudjoe Gardens Marina (477 Drost Ave.) and Little Torch Key (SR 4A & County Road) can handle larger boats for a minimal fee.

We’re located twenty-five miles from Key West for dinner and nightlife. Walk 2 minutes down the block to Tonio's Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar. Bahia Honda State Park, with its beautiful beaches, is a 15 minute drive from HIDDEN HAMMOCK RESORT. Our property is not on a waterfront and there are no public beaches in Summerland Key.

Guests are provided with the following amenities: a small bottle of dish soap, hand soap and a sponge, a roll of paper towels and toilet paper, a few laundry pods and hotel-size toiletries in the bathroom. This is to help our guests off to a good start. There are grocery and convenience stores in the areas for guests to purchase anything else that they may need.

Cottage on Summerland Key

We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Palm Cottage! Hope's recommendation for restaurants and a snorkeling outfitter were spot on and very helpful. The location was so scenic and peaceful. We felt very relaxed and greatly enjoyed our week and a half in the Keys. Some days we went out and had adventures, and other days we just relaxed by the pool. It was even better than we had hoped for and we will definitely visit again!
Perfect location for all our adventures!
Lot's to do and see in Key West, including taking in the sunset at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, after a day at the beach.
We enjoyed a snorkeling excursion with Captain Hooks outfitter. Very nice and knowledgeable people. Ask for Captain Josh!
We enjoyed being tourists for a day in Key West. The butterfly encounter was so beautiful!

The perfect location if you want to visit Key West but not stay in the hustle and bustle. There were plenty of local dining options and the pool was fantastic! Hope and Trina are great hosts and always available for recommendations for local attractions and dining.

Super cute apartment

We thoroughly loved our stay here. Property was quiet, pool was lovely and fun, ample parking onsite and everything in the apartment worked well. Bed was super comfy as well.

Cottage perfect for a fishing trip stay

Cottage is fine, but inside has a little bit of deferred maintenance to be addressed. Overall had a nice solo stay while fishing. Grounds are very well kept. Manager is terrific with communication.

Great place!

The property manager is great!Everything is as described. We loved the pool, outdoor shower, the option to do laundry. It was a nice place to introduce our kids to the Keys but not be right in the middle of the action.

This is the place

This is the place. The place to listen to birds and rustling palms. Our Nineteen fifties chic bungalow was perfect, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed our mornings poolside with Five Brothers Cuban coffee and pastelitos. The location is amazing for a short drive to Key West or Marathon.The Hosts are amazing, delivering pastries and information regularly.We're very much looking forward to our next stay.

Nice Holiday Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Palm Cottage over the holidays. Hope, the property manager, was very welcoming and helpful when we had questions. She left goodies for us for the holiday and made sure we were comfortable. The property was great and we really enjoyed the heated pool. Quiet road and location and was able to go for a nice neighborhood walk.

Birthday Getaway in the Keys

My partner and I loved staying at Palm Cottage for 5 nights. Hope was available as needed, shared information on restaurants, etc and we had everything we needed. The pool was clean and very nice, also. The location at Summerland Key was very quiet and convenient to Key West as well as Bahia Honda State Park. Appreciated having use of beach chairs and towels for the beach. We definitely would like to return!

The extra mile

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Palm Cottage. The owners went the extra mile in every way. They made us feel welcome, the pool was perfect and clean, the owner cut fresh coconuts for our girls to try, we had donuts and muffins dropped to our door lastly their recommendations were spot on and made our whole Florida Keys vacation. Family getaway

Very comfortable low key rental. The house was clean and setup perfectly for what we needed. The pool was very warm more like an oversized hot tub but it was still nice to hang out in after a day out. Loved the outdoor shower! Will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay for our next trip down!

Perfect Cottage for Two

My Husband and I stayed at the cutest cottage that had everything we needed and more. The location was a perfect spot to explore the northern keys as well as heading south to Key West. We took advantage of the pool on site. Our hosts we very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this wonderful property.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palm Cottage. It was close to all the sites but we also enjoyed just hanging out at the pool. It was very quiet and we basically had the resort to ourselves, which was lovely. The cottage itself was simple but clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were not around while we were there, but they provided the direction and information we needed and I suspect would have answered any questions if we had any. We did meet a caretaker who answered some basic housekeeping questions we had. We would go back and recommend it to others who enjoy the peace and quiet and being away from all the hustle and bustle.

Best of Florida Keys

Easy from start to finish! Lovely cottage in very central location in the Florida Keys. Hope was the highlight of the trip, truly the “hostess with the mostest.” She checked in daily, offered great tips for restaurants and activities. Loved everything about the property: quiet, the outdoor shower, the beds, the pool, Lulu, and the freshest seafood! Would definitely recommend.

Our cottage was simple, a little worn but as described, clean and quiet. It was an 20-30” drive to Key West and conveniently located with restaurants nearby. The pool area was well maintained and made for a nice outdoor area to cool off and relax. The host was attentive but not over bearing and communications were easy. We’d definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful

This is a beautiful property. Beautiful grounds with a lot of open space, wetlands, tons of birds... The cottage itself was perfect. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and we had everything that we needed. There's a grill near the pool and that was perfect for a nice dinner at 'home'. The pool was beautiful as well, a little chilly while we were there, but still perfect. There's a lot to explore and do around Summerland Key, lots of nature trails and whatnot. And it's a nice quiet location to come back to after exploring the other Keys. We had a fantastic time!
