Welcome to The Idyll House! Newly remodeled chalet style cabin located just outside of Big Bear tucked away in the quiet residential neighborhood of Sugarloaf. We are located less than 10 miles from The Village and guests can enjoy nearby trails. Our home is the perfect space for a weekend away with friends, small family, a couple’s retreat, or a solo journey. We designed our cabin with a lot of care and commitment to offer guests a cozy and beautiful mountain getaway.
The space
Bedroom:
 Our 880 sq ft two story, loft style cabin features 2 queen size beds, full bedding and a large cozy reading nook. The upstairs also offers a full-sized mirror, luggage racks.


Living Room:
 The living room is thoughtfully designed for lounging, fully equipped with a projector and sound bar for an epic movie night. The projector connects to all major streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu etc.) via a Fire Stick. If you're looking for a break from screens, you'll also find a 7-1 Victrola Bluetooth entertainment system and board games located next to a wood burning fire stove to cozy up after a day out.
Kitchen:
 Enjoy our recently remodeled kitchen which offers a selection of pots, pans, baking sheet, microwave, toaster, five burner range stove and oven, cutlery, oil, and basic spices. The kitchen includes a Keurig coffee machine, pour-over coffee maker, frother and tea kettle. While we do offer guests K-cups, coffee grounds and tea to compliment your morning routine in Big Bear, we ask that you bring your own milk/creamer selection. Our kitchen and dining area are the perfect place to share a meal with loved ones and to encourage that, we provide a couple of cookbooks as well.


Backyard:
 Our spacious backyard has plenty of nature and is fully gated to allow for kids and pets to explore safely. Enjoy the 3-burner gas grill or unwind in our private hot tub under the Big Bear night sky with ample market lighting.

Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire house and backyard, with the exception of our storage closets in the bathroom, Bedroom and backyard, which will remain locked during your stay. Unique entry code will be provided for our smart lock the day before check-in
