「We had a great stay, and I appreciated the host's willingness to flex with us to make all work well! A very clean, nicely appointed space inside, and a usable patio and lawn out back that served our visiting grandchildren nicely.Note: the home is on a reservation, about 20 min from any businesses or restaurants. The street is less than pristine and manicured, but is very close to the water. We saw Bald Eagles as we walked the shoreline. Excellent host!!」

「Beautiful home with a gorgeous VIEW!! This was the perfect choice for two couples, offering privacy with one bedroom downstairs, and a well-equipped kitchen. Our host was so helpful, providing tips, suggestions and some local insider knowledge! I hope to stay here again next year, and the year after that…5 stars!」

「Lovely short stay at Birch Bay. Property was surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was well equipped for a small family reunion. Location was windswept (it was early March, so unsurprising!). Beds were very comfy. House warmed up quickly when the furnace was put on, although we had to turn it off overnight as we found it a little noisy, but that was our personal preference. Overall, would definitely stay again. Great property.」

「I told the host we were arriving after dark, and she thoughtfully made sure to have some lights already turned on. The rooms were very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The living and dining areas comfortably accommodated our party of 5 adults. GREAT deck off the living room with beautiful water views. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended!」

「We loved this house and the surrounding yard! The home was a comfortable space for 6 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is a short walk to a great grocery store, restaurant or down to the sound. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces such as the deck, hot tub, gorgeous yard and patio spaces. We would definitely book this house again if we visit the island. 」
