"This my 4th stay and it’s been great every time!"

"This hotel is a gem in Charlotte, especially for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well designed. AC was a little loud and slight damage to the room that could’ve been better unkept but nothing that took away from the stay. They did have a sign with a strict linens replacement fee schedule and a sign about no locals allowed from within 50 miles for hotel “safety.” They have a cool downstairs area with a bunch of little games and a direct walkway to Fortune Wok which was absolutely delicious."

"When I booked the room there was nothing stating that I had to live atleast 50 miles away after paying and booking I received a message stating that I must live 50 miles away from hotel to book. I messaged them back and let them know that I lived 46 miles away and wanted to know would that be a problem I was only coming for one night. I didn’t hear back figured everything was fine got to hotel was told at first I didn’t live far enough away to stay there. I told the guy it’s 4 miles short I’m only here because my husband has an appointment at the hospital early in the morning. He let us check after a few back and forth words. But made sure to let me know it would be noted that I was aware now of the policy. I let him know no worries I’d book elsewhere if I had to do it again. Stay away from here. Towel rack in bathroom falling off the wall. Light didn’t cut off had to literally flip it off and on and mess with it to find its spot to keep it off. Found trash under the bed and in the floor. Very disappointing I’ve stayed at other Hilton owned places before but spark will never be on my list again. Hilton may not be after this visit."

"I’ll be began by saying that the staff was amazing. Everyone was super kind and helpful. When I checked into my room, I took a look around and realized that the photos on the website aren’t the best representation of the rooms. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The lobby looks amazing, but doesn’t reflect what the rest of the building looks like. The first room that I checked into smelled like Clorox or some other cleaning solution but unfortunately they missed the headboard. The headboard had some kind of fluid that had been smeared. I informed the front desk who immediately upgraded my room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. There was dust on the headboard, chipped wood on the TV console, an older AC unit, what looked like cigarette burns on the top of the lampshade. If I was staying in Charlotte for longer than one night, I would have changed hotels. I appreciate it how professional the staff was, but unfortunately, the rooms aren’t the best. Also, the parking lot was a whole different situation. There were people smoking marijuana in their cars, and a guy walking in front of the hotel at night, asking for money. When I told the staff person at checkout about my experience, she politely waived the parking fee, which I think was $15. I would not stay here again."
