"Meran is such a beautiful city and this apartment is a great place to see it. The big windows and terraces of this apartment make for fabulous views. This apartment is not only comfortable but sizable. We were also happy to have so much space as we brought a lot of hiking gear and luggage. It is also very close to the pedestrian trails that lead to the city center. Walking to the city center for dinner was great fun. Margarete was kind to explain the places she thought our kids would enjoy most...

"8:15 pm I received a call from the front desk and I replied we would have been there by 8:45. Upon our arrival at 8:45 we were asked if we wished to have dinner at the hotel. We replied affirmatively and we were told rather abruptly to hurry up because the kitchen was about to close and to go immediately to the restaurant area without even going in our room… the waiter and the rest of the staff were very polite and absolutely amazing was the young Indian lady that was there for breakfast. Unfortunately the lady, probably the owner, that was at the reception was rude beyond words. "

"Out of all the places we stayed during our 16 day family vacation/European road trip, this is the only one that was a total bust. We're not picky or hard to please, but from the rude attendant during check-in to the ever-present smell of cigarettes, to the loud neighbors and run-down/dated furnishings and uncomfortable beds, it's honestly difficult to find something nice to say. Breakfast was good and included in the price. There. That's one nice thing. Bottom line: it's a dump. Do not recommend."
