「I was gluten and dairy free. The buffet was labelled up with allergies on it. Had to ask for gf bread and df milk as was not available out. The spa was fully booked , so didn't have one. Pool was usy most of the time not matter what time you went. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it and stung the eyes. Restaurant and spa staff were very good. Front desk was hit and miss. The room was decent , the only problem was there was two alcoves that were slanted, one above the bed which I kept...

「Located conveniently for The Storm Race 10k and if it hadn't been raining heavily there was lots of nice surrounding countryside to explore, the facilities in my room were good and included a microwave and fridge though there was no WIFI available, though the staff were excellent in helping me out after I couldn't find anyone to let me into my room, the landlord even bought me a toothbrush because I had accidently forgotten to pack mine, the pressure on the hot tap was a little strong and took...

「Not the biggest room, but bright, fresh & clean. I was in the converted roof area with velux windows. Nice shower (no bath option), lovely warm towel rail at all times, and L’Occitane products. Room has a smart tv with Netflix, a safe, ironing board & iron, good hairdryer, still & sparkling water & tea & coffee making facilities. There is a temp control with fan. 「The room was a bit tatty, needs updating and decorating, carpet was stained but clean, large comfortable bed and fridge in room, which was useful. The staff were very helpful, showing me to my room and completing the parking online form to register my car for the carpark. Its a pity the new owners no longer allow dogs in the hotel. I would return if they reviewed their policy.」
