"The room was clean and comfortable and climate control worked well. The pet fee was reasonable, BUT there needs to be more parking lot lighting to make it safe to walk dogs, and there needs to be a trash container for bagged pet waste. The lack of lighting was a BIG problem. Only one working outdoor light on the far end of the building."

"Oh my goodness where do I begin?Very clean, beautifully updated bungalow with all the charm possible! All the basic things you need for a stay are available, one of the BEST stocked kitchen with not only utensils but cooking basics. Comfortable king bed (only 2 of us) but both bedrooms lovely! LOVED the 1/2 bath right off the King room!! And the kitchen nook? a sweet place to have coffee and watch all the birds, squirrels :0) Table also has a tray with all the local tour and eatery information for review.Location is perfect to the square and most attractions, easy walk from the neighborhood. We really enjoyed eating at The Drift (Meaghan was great!!) & the pastries from Petite.Last, but certainly not least, Rochelle is a very attentive, friendly, and kind host, a guest couldn't ask for better! We will be back...we came for a wedding but who knew Winterset was a find!! Thank you Rochelle!"

"All went well. Somewhat neutral overall. The room, in essence, appeared tired. Though it appeared clean and all, it was not the calibre of the pricier hotels. Bed and pillows were excellent. Hot water in the shower a concern as could get buned if not careful. Tub slow to drain; but then that is not necessarily unusual. Unless I miss my guess, there was only one other guest for the night. Would I go back? Yes."
