The Farm Home was the perfect layout for our family of seven The parents had the master suite with their two kids next door in bunk beds. The two granddads had the bedroom with two twin beds and the funcle sprawled out downstairs. To duplicate these accommodations in a hotel would have been very expensive and hard to find The kitchen was extremely well equipped and there were plenty of games for the kids. We stopped by the Farm Home store on Main Street and met Lisa, the owner. We promised to return in 2026.

Ski weekend

House was great and had everything we needed. It was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It’s 10-15 minutes to Stowe Mountain with a shuttle that goes by the house. Thank you for hosting us!

Fun place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has been updated and is charming. My only concern is it’s not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs are so steep. The claw foot tub is charming but impossible for an old person to get in to use the shower. I can’t do stairs but I had to make it up the steps to shower. It was well equipped with high end appliances and kitchen tools. Lines were lovely with quality soaps and shampoo’s. They have done everything possible to make it a lovely experience.

Beautiful home in the perfect location

We enjoyed staying at this home. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed which made for a seamless stay. House is actually prettier in person because the view from the front porch is why you go to Stowe! Walkable to several restaurants, shops and walking trails.

Lovely home in the perfect location

The Farm House is well-appointed, with beautifully maintained gardens. It a jewel perfectly situated next to Main Street. We enjoyed our stay very much and would heartily recommend it to others.

Perfect location and a great stay

Our family of 6 enjoyed this beautiful home which is located within walking distance to most of Stowe. Bedding was comfortable, digital entertainment was scarce (which we loved) and the kitchen was very well supplied with snacks supplied. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to stay.

Lovely property and great location

Such a beautifully restored, quintessential Vermont farm home. We loved our stay and all of the lovely details that made for a warm, fun family getaway. So nice to be able to walk to dinner after a day on the mountain! Thank you.

Wonderful ski weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The property is about 15 minute drive to the ski mountain and just a short walk to the beautiful down town. The house is beautifully renovated and was comfortable for two families to share. We had a great stay!

Great place and location

house was fairly comfortable. Location excellent, able to walk to town (or drive) and the mountain is only a few minutes away. The property quiet and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen supplies very well stocked. Only con was that the house is pretty drafty.

Beautifully Renovated Farm House

Beautiful old farmhouse, fully renovated and updated with much style. A fully stocked, great kitchen with high end appliances. The hosts have provided all that is needed and many extras. Beautiful patio area in back, lovely landscaping and gardens. Would highly recommend for family gatherings. Great property! Gracious hosts, very responsive.

Charming Farm Home Right in Stowe

Beautiful and clean farm house. Very relaxing place to stay. Centrally located and able to walk to restaurants and shops. Walking distance & a short drive to down town Stowe. The views from the window of Stowe are lovely. Only 10 minutes from Stowe mountain! Great place for adults and kids.

Great house!

This is a great house! Short walk to town and charmingly decorated. The hosts really take great care of this house and communication was easy and efficient. You feel like you are staying in someone's very nice and stylish Vermont home. A few things to keep in mind if you are staying with small children or elderly. 1. The stairs have narrow steps which is to be expected of this historic home. There is a bedroom on the first floor which is great. 2. One window in a bedroom didn't close all the way for us. But there was a shutter over it that closed all the way. 3. There is a sidewalk that leads into town but it is on the opposite side of the road. Cars on that road drive about 30 miles an hour or so it felt like. There is a crosswalk a half a block away from the house.

Great house!

Our stay at the Farmhouse was fantastic. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and very nice. The decor was impeccable and you can tell thought went into every detail. It felt like we were staying at an interior design showcase. Everything was comfy and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a cupboard of snacks, and linens were luxurious. On top of that, we arrived to a basket with a gift card and local coffee beans. The location is great and very close to downtown. We walked into the main drag for morning coffee, and used the provided bikes on the town's rec path which I highly recommend. I'd definitely come back.

Fall Stay

What a wonderful home! The pictures don’t do this property justice. There is a beautiful garden, ample parking, great yard, and perfect access to Stowe. We thank you for a wonderful fall stay with our little girls.

Great Stowe Getaway

We absolutely loved Stowe, and a large part of it being such a great trip was staying at the Farm Home. As we drove up the driveway we first noticed the garden that makes it immediately feel homey. Upon entering the house we noticed how clean everything was. Lots of room, well stocked kitchen, fun fire pit out back that we sat around every night we were there and visited for hours. Everything was as advertised or better, and Lisa was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. Her store downtown is super cute and must see while in Stowe. Thanks Lisa for a great stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, Charming and Clean Historic Home

This is a place we can’t wait to come back to! This home exudes charm. It has been updated and is so stylish, clean, yet they held on to the historic charm of the property. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and it felt like home. We loved riding the bikes around town and the close proximity to everything in Stowe made it so much fun. Beautiful home

My friends and I planned a girls trip to Stowe, and the Farm House was the perfect home for our stay. It was beautifully designed, clean, and had tons of sustainable products, which was awesome. Check in and check out were clear and easy, and the location was extremely central. I would definitely return on my next Vermont trip.

House with a soul

Upon entering you are overwhelmed with the cleanliness, warmth and character of this beautiful house. Everything is first class. Go for a walk through the garden to the Adirondack chairs perched high above the bustle of Mountain Road. Close to the center of Stowe, a short walk to shops and restaurants. Mud/snow room is perfectly designed for ski storage and shedding layers of snow clothes. If you are undecided about staying at this house, just click yes. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Stowe experience

We loved our stay at the Farm House. So stylish, comfortable, quiet and yet perfectly central. The pictures do not do justice to the attention to detail and thoughtful design touches. Lovely landscape and garden too - thanks so much we hope to visit again.
