Everything you could ask for in a Northwoods getaway. Cozy, great views, wildlife, nicely appointed cabin. Check in and check out were easy, and the hosts were freindly and easy to work with.

Cute and clean

Great hosts next door. Very clean, cute cottage with everything you need. Firewood provided for a fire pit. Nice lake view for morning coffee

Weekend away-Cabin as advertised

Nice little cabin, very clean, great for a couple. Not a swimming area, but if you like to fish and kayak it's great. Quiet. Owners live next door and are very nice. Bed needs updating and it is a bit small. Nice fire pit, gas and charcoal grill. Screened in porch. Chairs to sit and watch sunset. Everything you need for a nice time.

The cabin was super cute and comfortable. Perfect for a couple wanting to have time away and relax. The sunset was absolutely beautiful sitting down on the private dock. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Small cabin near Stone lake

We had an amazing time at this cabin. The sunsets are very pretty and it was quiet most of the time. We stayed six nights and we are likely to return again. The hosts are amazing. They live next door and when the was a threat of severe weather, they let us put our car in their garage. We appreciated that.

Cozy Cabin in a very peaceful/relaxing area

Cozy cute cabin right by the lake. We enjoyed fishing and UTVing on Tuscobia Trail during our stay. Highly recommend this rental. We would love to come back.

Northwoods Getaway

Our second time staying at the Musky Shack was just as great as the first. Fishing was excellent, and the cabin is nice and secluded on the bay. It's just a short drive to town and took our little girl to the Wilderness Zoo and Lumberjack Show. Looking forward to staying again.

Musky Shack

The property has all the amenities you need to be self-sufficient . The lake view was very relaxing and the sunsets were fantastic . The owners were very friendly and helpful with local information and recommendations. We would definitely stay at the Musky Shack again. Kill

Musky Shack in Musky Bay

Great place! Very clean. Nice little shack on the water with a fire pit. Owners live next door and are very helpful with anything you need. Excellent fishing right from the dock. I cought many bass and pike. We brought our boat and most of the bay is pretty shallow 3-5 ft, but manageable

Wonderful relaxing weekend

The cabin was very clean and very well designed/furnished. Our hosts Dave & Kathy were wonderful and kind. Our expectation were exceeded and we had a lovely relaxing weekend.

Charming cabin in serene location

Charming, very clean, well maintained cabin in peaceful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this cabin with back deck and dock for viewing lake sunsets and night star gazing. Also wonderful area for walks and bike rides around the peninsula the cabin is located on!

We were looking for kind of a secluded cabin and that is what this was. Close to the water and dock, perfect for us. Would have liked to have a clean coffee pot, we did not use it.

Wonderful place

This is our 2nd time here and it was just as good as the first time. Very clean cabin, great fishing, very quiet location and so relaxing. Highly recommend!

Perfect Lake Cabin

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Musky Shack. It's a very nice little cabin on a perfect spot on the shores of LCO with beautiful views of sunset over the lake. Has all the amenities you could need for a northwoods vacation.

Perfect

mother/daughter weekend

This was the perfect spot for a mother(94yo)/daughter(67 yo) get away. We had many places to visit while here and it was nice to come back to a peaceful, quiet spot at the end of a busy day. We enjoyed the sunset, quiet, occasional call of the loon, and the morning mist rising off the lake.
