Cozy Vacation Getaway and Hunter's Paradise

Tucked in a secluded cove, our log cabin in Morgan County has privacy with a view that few others can surpass. One mile North of Chesterhill, OH, close to Athens and McConnelsville. Luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, with 32 acres to roam. Hiking, bird watching, relaxation and fresh country air are just a few of the benefits. Private bedroom and loft bedroom, both with queen beds. Get away from the busyness and listen to the quiet, absorb the peace. Our Cottage is on the same property, but there is plenty of space for you to enjoy your privacy.

You will love Antler Ridge Cabin for a romantic weekend or a week of vacation with your family. All the amenities of home in a quiet peaceful setting will help relieve stress and give you a new appreciation for the Creator and the created.

The kitchen is fully furnished with stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, crockpot, pots and pans, dishes, cups, flatware, utensils, etc. Iron and small ironing board.

Before you leave, please wash dirty dishes and place them in cupboards. All trash and leave it in the trash can outside. Make sure the lid is locked.
Turn the thermostat to 62 degrees. AC to 76 in summer. We would be delighted if you would start a load of laundry, to speed up our cleaning time.

Cabin is cozy and warm. Decor is comfortable and attractive. Plenty of pots, pans, and utensils if you cook. The area is quiet and people are friendly in Chesterhill. There is lots of land to walk a dog. The house is always immaculate. We love the Franklin stove in the winter. It is almost like having a fireplace without the mess.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here! We spent a lot of time exploring the surrounding area and the Hocking Hills park. Everything was amazing, and it made for a great anniversary trip.

The cabin and location were perfect for a day trip to state parks and the town of Marietta Ohio a relaxed Ohio river town. Local restaurants were perfect!

Great Cabin and Property

We stayed here for a few days for a little getaway. Had a wonderful time. Cabin was great and very clean. There was a gorgeous view from the deck! We will definitely be back!

This cabin is the perfect getaway to find some peace. The cabin sits among 32 beautiful acres that one can freely explore. They also allow pets. My husband and our two pets enjoyed walking the property among the trees and open fields. A small deer walked up to the cabin at dusk, then exited into the woods. We watched beautiful butterflies and heard birds singing. The cabin was equipped with everything one could possibly need or want. It was also exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Antler Ridge. The cabin was very tidy and comfortable, we had such a relaxing weekend. We had all the information we needed including local restaurants and attractions. This was our first stay, however, it will certainly not be our last!

Country Paradise

Long weekend stay. Home is comfortable and very clean. If you want to cook they are stocked with everything you would need. The property is lovely. It is very peaceful. Bird watchers will love all the birds. My biggest surprise was a cat bird that landed on the porch and hung out with me for awhile.The owners are amazing and flexible when they are able to be.

Awesome cabin

Very clean place. Just wish weather was better (windy,cold) so we could enjoy sitting on the deck, fire pit, and hike the property. Have to go back when not winter.....would be really awesome in the fall. Kincaid cave is cool.

Weekend away

worked on writing and recording music, so the main thing was seclusion and quiet and nice clean place. It was very clean and comfortable and spacious. It was nice just to sit outside and look at the hills and good to see so many stars at night.

Cabin Getaway

This beautiful little cabin was clean and supplied well with everything you need for the kitchen & bathroom. Towels, toiletries and linens were also supplied. The quilts and cotton sheets were very soft and clean. Dish soaps, laundry detergents & spray cleaners also were supplied. The one a/c wall unit kept the main living area very cool. We had beautiful weather! Upper 40’s, low 50’s at night so we opened up the windows for a nice cool sleep. Beautiful scenery! The property is very well maintained with free WiFi, one smart tv, reclining sofa’s and a rocker recliner.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The first night we noticed we didn’t have any water so we contacted the owners and they were quick to send someone out. The second cabin on the property lost water as well. We found out the city had a water line bust which cause our cabin to loose water. Luckily it was 10pm and by the time we woke up the next morning the water was back on. The cabin was great. Lady bugs were out in full force but it was fine. Walked the property and saw lots of deer in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely come back.

Quaint & Quiet

Good living space. Dining table had plenty of room for board games. Fire pit was nice and had a picnic table with benches but no good separate chairs for relaxing by the fire. Roasted hot dogs over the fire for dinner. Evening stars were amazing. Well out in the country so the night sky was the kind where once your eyes adjusted you saw more and more stars. Beds were a bit on the firm side, but still comfortable gift a good nights sleep. Plenty of pillows which was nice. Downstairs bedroom got a little warm even with the AC on but there was a desk ocillating fan that was nice. Kitchen was well equipped and there were ice trays in the freezer which was nice too.
