「We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you」

「stayed in room 1 and i personally felt the room to be little dated. Bathroom also the same Our bed was 2 singles just pushed together. But i must say the room was very clean thoughout The spar the next day was also very good」

「This is a wonderful guesthouse. The location was ideal for us less than a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The room was very comfortable with fantastic tea and coffee facilities. It was quiet and well decorated. We parked on the road outside the guesthouse and were provided with a permit that was valid until midday. There is a wonderful café just across the road that is well worth visiting as well.」

「Lovely room though we had a problem with a leak from the upstairs shower. It was quickly sorted by the hotel manager. The staff seemed really friendly. The hotels is a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and I would recommend」

「There was nothing unique about this hotel, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. I would warn people with disabilities about access issues at the front of the property, there are several stairs to climb and no ramp. To be fair, if you can arrive/enter at the back entrance, it's mainly on the flat, so I'd recommend this as the best option. There are two lifts in the hotel to help you reach your room, although you may have to wait a while as both can be busy, indeed one of the lifts is...

「Our booking was made in February 2026 and we arrived to find we were not staying in the hotel but in an adjacent building 100 yards away which housed apartments. The weekend was to celebrate my 80th birthday and luckily I am sufficiently agile to overcome the steps getting into the apartment. It could possibly have been more convenient and cheaper to have booked a nearby travel lodge.」

「Room clean , bathroom good. Towels good size. Little short on plug sockets for modern day appliances such as phones, hair dryers, hair straighteners.」

「Room was lovely, but the mattress was obviously old as it sagged in the middle. The hotel is right on a main road so a lot of noise and music playing till very late in the evening. It’s ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend longer」

「We enjoyed our visit and the staff were friendly and helpful but the rooms could have been cleaner. The building is old and it shows. Lots of toothpaste splatter on the wall next to sink, dirty paint, worn out carpet and you can hear noise from hallway. We had a great time and location was perfect.」

「Stayed previously, great location, accomodation perfect 2 large bedrooms with immaculate bathrooms, parking facilities an extra bonus. No doubt we'll be back again. Only negative strangely couldnt find any cups/plates etc.」
