A very convenient location in a nice quiet neighborhood; mind you we did have a car. A short 3-5 minute drive from 2 supermarkets. And a 25 minute drive to the very picturesque Bodensee and the town of Überlingen that offers plenty of sightseeing. On the way to Bodensee, you'll pass some orchards with fresh fruits and vegetables and a farmers market on the weekends.The house itself was very comfortable for 4 adults (you can have up to 6), 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The kitchen and in general the house was well equipped and all in working order. Our gracious host had even planted an herb garden for the visitors, which we enjoyed in our soups and salads.Across from the house is a working farm with geese, ducks and chickens. What a treat to open the windows and hear them.Also, the closest self-service laundromat that google found for us was only 20 minutes drive in a town north of Stockach called Tuttlingen and the 1.5 hours it took to wash and dry was spent drinking coffee and fresh pastries across the street.Last but not least, our host (Mr. P.S.) was very kind and super responsive.Ramzi
