Had a terrific stay, service was incredible and food cooked by Chef Yas was delicious. Beautiful spot and hot tub was added bonus. Enjoyed talking with owners Yas and Ally.

Peaceful and gorgeous

On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality.

Lovely location. The service at breakfast and dinner was very slow. The dinner option was very disappointing and overpriced, compared to other restaurants that we visited in the area. House keeping was very lacklustre, bed not made, towels not changed, coffee and water in the room not replaced.

Beautiful but lacking

The area was stunning and right on a loch which was a bonus. The hotel itself we think could do with some updates as it is old. The food wasn’t that great and both of us struggled to finish our meals. Our room was comfortable and well presented. Small touches would have been nice like labelling the bathroom dispensers. The website is also out of date and some hotel features aren’t available anymore. Room 10 you also have to walk through the kitchen & out behind the storage area to get to it

We went for our 10th anniversary as a surprise for my wife. She was blown away with the setting and the views in particular. The staff were top notch, our glasses were never empty and Alison and her team was always on hand to assist. Wee bonuses were: hot tub available at all times, a small beach area by the loch, and the quality of dining options available. There are a good few options of places to eat within a 5 mile radius, but we chose to eat here both nights as the menu was tempting, the view of Ben Lomond whilst eating was a plus, and the food was delicious of course. Even the basic hotel stuff was done to the highest standard. Lost of fantastic hotels let themselves down with poorly maintained bathrooms, like broken tiles, empty soap dispensers etc. But none of that here, everything was presented in a welcoming and polished manner. They do things right here. Oh and the robot lawn mowers will captivate you. A must visit 10/10

The room was very clean and the property gorgeous. Windows in the room opened, which was necessary as there is not central air and the weather was warm. Owners were so friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and the views were spectacular.

We had such a great experience on arrival to Skotland that we chose to repeat a stay and stay a night before leaving as well. We really loved place surroundings with nature. It was raining all the time but it didn’t matter much due to the charm and coziness. We were welcomed and a lady made us feel like at home, dinner was absolutely delicious and breakfast as well. I slept very well due to comfy bed and especially pillows for me it’s most difficult in a hotel stay if pillows are not comfortable but this time I was surprisingly pleased. This is a place to return to

Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . Thank you for a super stay , we will be back !
