The staff were very helpful and it is a good location, however I was not aware when I booked that we would be staying in a “lower level” room next to the pub kitchen. There are upper level rooms but it wasn’t clear choice when booking

Excellent boutique hotel only 15 minute walk to Stirling castle. Rooms were very large and easy to get into from the rear parking area. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our booking and had nice meals for dinner in their restaurant and bar.

Nice atmosphere downstairs and up in the room. Tall ceilings excellent bedding, wonderful shower delicious treats. We ate dinner there and while the salad wasn’t very good. The pizza was delicious. In the morning we were in a hurry to go see the castle and they boxed up some pastries for the car and gave us drinks to go. Absolutely amazing service!! The parking lot in the back may have been one of my favorite features. It’s on a busy street with lots of competition to park there and pay, but have a special lot in back included with the room was perfect. It was a bonus to walk to and from the castle. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely spacious suite room which we were upgraded to and charged extra for without prior knowledge.Even though it was lovely you would have thought there would have been an explanation. The staff were very friendly and helpful.I would recommend the cooked breakfast.

The Allan Park Hotel was wonderful. Parking is convenient and in the back of the property. The location is excellent for site seeing. We went for a walk in the evening and found quite a few shops and restaurants (though they were closed since we were out late). Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was lovely. I have a shellfish allergy and they were able to accommodate. The hotel was a great place to stay for our visit to Sterling Castle.

This place is only an hour drive from the Edinburgh airport and great place to start your drive into Scotland. I got there way before "check in" but I was able to leave my car and walk to the Castle and enjoy the city. The room was warm and cozy and it was so great to have pub/restaurant onsite. The food was great and it was a great start to my Scotland vacation.
