"This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. Fresh, spacious, clean rooms that surrounded a relaxing garden and a beautiful pool area. "The Fortress Resort and Spa is a five-star hotel. It boasts a prime location—if your travel destination is the famous "stilt fishermen," several such sites are just a two-minute walk from the hotel. From the hotel grounds, guests can enjoy panoramic, spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel offers top-notch service and world-class facilities. Its restaurant, however, is merely average; the variety of food available does not quite justify the price point."

"Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! "

"Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. "

"Never ever stay here. I booked the place for 2 nights. And when i arrived the hotel, they did not have any room left. They had already charge me for the stay!!! So i ended up loosing my money and no place to stay. It was the day before bew years eve, so There was not many place left to stay…"
