    You’re just 8 minutes from the river, 20 minutes from Soldotna, and about 35 minutes from Cooper Landing—right in the middle of some of the best fishing around. There’s plenty of parking for trucks, boats, and gear, and the area stays quiet so you can unwind after a full day outside.

Shane was a great host, and very responsive when I was having booking issues. His house is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

When originally booking the property the photos and description showed one bed per room, which was sufficient for our group size, and when we checked in the rooms were rearranged and an additional bed was put into each room which made them feel a little small and cramped. The main living space, and amenities afforded were great, and the host was very communicative and helpful.

For our stay it served our purpose well. PROS…Excellent location for fishing . Very quiet setting, very roomy, comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen, everything was easily located inside. CONS…There were a couple of extension cords that could have been a trip hazard. An outside fire pit or BBQ area would be a nice touch. The bedrooms were a bit crowded with the extra beds against the walls. All in all a good stay.
