My grandmother had planned to use the king-sized bed downstairs; however, I realized she would hurt herself if she need to use the bathroom at night. The drop-down stairs to the second floor bedroom were in the way of her door....

"Wir waren für 5 Nächte Gäste in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Die Traumhafte Lage direkt an einem Seitenarm des Timmeler Meeres ist besonders hervorzuheben. Auch mit dem Angeln hat gut geklappt.2 Aale von ca.60 cm ist doch nicht schlecht, oder.Ist aber Geduld gefragt, beide Aale so gegen 3-4 Uhr Nachts. Auch die Dusche hat keinen Einstieg sondern ist ebenerdig. Ein Fernseher ist im WZ und im SZ vorhanden. Stauraum gibt es auch genug. Einzige Verbesserungsvorschläge:- Eine Grillzange für den Grill - Mehr bzw. (bessere) Haken im Badezimmer. "It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children.The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor. The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. The only thing that I didn't like about my room was the mattress. I found it to be very hard. The best aspect of my stay was the breakfast. So much food and non-dairy milk for the ceral. I just loved it! "
