Good service, clean room, good hospitality, etc all were perfect but one.
We had a dinner and breakfast in the restaurant within the hotel.
The quality is unfortunately not so good.

「昨年の８月初旬にケープタウンに訪問した折、街の中心である駅周辺のホテルに滞在しました。その辺りは治安が良い訳ではなく、郊外は非常に治安が良いことが分かった為、今回は郊外で宿泊先を手配しました。街中や港地区にはタクシー or レンタカーが一般的です。私は電車で駅前迄、往復しましたが、よほど旅慣れていないと、「無謀」ということになるでしょう。空港や街中までのタクシー代が嵩むので、短期滞在には向かないかもしれません。ホテルは設備、清掃は良い。スタッフは少ないですが、英語が話せれば特に困ることは無いでしょう。」
「Even though we only stayed for two nights, it was really worth it. Ray and Sanchia were super helpful with anything we asked for or requested, the view is even more awe inspiring when you see it compared to the photos. The room is very spacious with all the usual amenities, as well as a few snacks and drinks and house keeping every day; if you need it. Lots of things to do around and nice places to eat. Don't be scared of the steps, they are definitely doable ;) 」

The special touches are numerous and the staff members are clearly trained to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 「I have stayed at Fernwood Manor for many years and the standards are always excellent. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is legendary and always freshly cooked. The gardens are immaculate and the poll - devine. I cannot recommend it highly enough ! 」
「This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host. The room was super clean, spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is within walking distance of a good restaurant and grocery and wine stores are near by. Could not have asked for more.」
