About this property
Cozy Log Cabin Condo, Ski-In, Hot Tub, Fireplace & Western Style. Sleeps 4.
Breathe in the Rockies as you're enveloped in the gentle glow of your welcome retreat, where every texture—from the Aspen log furnishings to plush throws and soft evening light—whispers “come in, rest, belong.” Each morning carries the ease of adventure: your skis glide right from the condo onto the slopes, with legendary "Champagne Powder®" awaiting across Steamboat’s generous terrain—about 12–14% beginner, 42–43% intermediate, and 40–44% advanced slopes—so everyone from first-timers to seasoned skiers finds the perfect run. When the day’s adventures call for comfort, return to the shared spa-like retreat of a large 12-person hot tub under star-filled skies, warm up in front of the stone fireplace, or handle fresh laundry in the building’s convenient laundry facilities before settling in for a cozy evening story or board game.
But the comfort doesn’t stop inside—outside, Steamboat Springs greets you in true Western style: a family-centered frontier town, built on cowboy roots yet glowing with modern safety, charm, and hospitality. School-aged skiers will love the world-class SnowSports School and learning center at Greenhorn Ranch, designed for gentle progression from first turns to confident mountain cruising. A free city bus whisks you downtown where warm eateries, local art galleries, and steamy hot springs await—farm-to-table dinners paired with cowboy hospitality. Whether you’re winding down or gearing up for another snowy adventure, this cozy condo at Christie Base wraps you in alpine comfort and boundless possibility.

The decor in the little cozy cabin was perfect. The manager was very helpful throughout our stay. We were very impressed with how well this room is stocked for your stay. Locker were great for gear storage.
Everything was great. It was a short walk to the "base Camp" with lots of restaurants and shopping. The town of Steamboat was less than 10 minutes away. Lots going on. Movie theater and wal-mart was close by.
We loved our stay! The location was a fantastic ski in-out. Very short walk to the run, but you could easily ski right back to your door at the end of the day. The hot tub was so nice to have after skiing all day. And the T Bar is a very short walk away. Always such a fun time in Steamboat!
Loved the stay at this property. Very close to the mountain--was able to walk down to the slopes, then ski back in. Very charming condo. Lot's of unique characteristics. Recommend this property and host and would definitely stay again!
This was the perfect location, we didn’t rent a car and were easily able to use the free bus to go downtown when needed and could walk to the slopes. Cute place, perfect size for 2 people but could’ve made it work with more people as well.
This place was a perfect location for us. It was close to stores and all the fields we needed to go to. The place was cozy and well taken care of. The neighbor's upstairs were noisy at times but calmed down once they left or went to bed. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!
We had a pleasant stay. A short spur off of the Right-O-Way ski run leads to the back door of the condo building, making this certainly a "ski-in" location. To get to the ski run from the condo, there are a few sets of stairs that need to be descended and street that needs to be crossed. Takes less than 5 minutes to do, and very manageable, but something to be aware of.
My son and I came to enjoy the long MLK weekend and this property was perfect for us. It is furnished nice for us two and the hosts were incredibly kind and gracious in our communication. It is truly a ski in and walk out but the walk to start your day on “Right of Way” is only about 3-4 minutes. Super easy!
The hot tub provided a great end to each day where we met some wonderful people from all across the country.
Take advantage of the free Steamboat public transit system. The bus stop at Ski Times Square is easily accessible and provides easy to follow routes to downtown.
We will be back and would love to have the opportunity to stay here again.
Very clean with all you could need for easy living! The owners seemed to have thought of everything. Easy to follow check in directions. There was an elevator but getting all luggage and gear in and out wasn’t fun. It’s close to the slope but some walking to get to the lifts. Very handy ski in. Very comfortable overall. We much prefer a king bed versus the queen and the pillows weren’t great. It’s kind of a ‘one butt kitchen’ but totally fine for a short visit. We did four nights.
We liked this condo! It is in Storm Meadows, building one, right behind Christie Club, so there is a small access road and a building between the condo and the slopes. It’s very easy to ski in, a bit of walk with equipment to get to ski out. But the route is well marked and easy to follow.
Host was very good with communication. Great directions to condo and parking. Easy check in and check out. Hot tub was great.
Something to note: parking is on 5th floor, condo is on 4th floor, hot tub and ski in/ski out access are on 3rd floor. It’s a bit of schlepping to unpack car from 5th floor parking lot, down steps to entry and then to 4th floor (there is an elevator) and to get gear from 4th floor ski locker to 3rd floor exit to slopes. Not a big deal if you’re staying for a week, but could be less than ideal for a 2 to 3 day stay. And I was traveling as one adult with my two kids, which probably made for more work. :)
It’s a good spot with great character and everything clean and in good working order. Plus really anything you’d want for cooking in the condo. We liked it and would stay again, but for a week as opposed to 3 days. 😊
