Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a large deck, central kitchen and great room make this home an excellent get away for family and friends. Look at the guidebook in this listing for a link to the 3D walk through of the home.
The space
The home is two levels. You enter the home on the lower level where you can access two bedrooms and a jack and jill bathroom. One of the lower bedrooms has two twin beds and a full over full bunk bed, the second lower bedroom has a king size bed. Heading upstairs you enter the great room and central kitchen area. Off of the great room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and attached 5 piece bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. Continuing through the kitchen to the dining room there is a second stair case accessing the forth bedroom and bathroom featuring a queen size bed and a full over full bunk bed. 2 garage spaces as well as 4 outdoor parking spaces with room for a snowmobile trailer.

This home is self check in with a lockbox on the front door.

Went there with my husband and another couple for a 5 night stay. Location was great, right off Rabbit Ears and easy to get to. The house was clean with many comfy beds. House needs some work especially the deck which was very old. Half the patio furniture was broken but we made it work. It lacked essentials most other rentals provide such as seasonings, enough dish soap paper towels, laundry detergent. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Steamboat and Stagecoach State park and 30 to Strawberry park. Very last morning we had a bear come close to the house so there is much wildlife in the area. All in all we had a great stay!

The house incredibly cool, even the in the hottest week of the summer, lots of tree cover. No AC is needed. House was clean and functional. Neighborhood has two large venue chateaus (think wedding parties) that were very busy on the weekends, but not wild or too loud. Other than those two large venue chateaus, super quiet. The house manager is very responsive and helpful . We had an issue with the internet, and she overnighted a Starlink system for our use, which worked perfectly. Also, a technician arrived about 4 days into our stay, and updated the house internet. The washer and dryer work well, the master bath and shower is very nice. Kitchen is tiny, but ok for a small group. I will say that we had to fix the large table ourselves, and add new light bulbs to several fixtures. We had a dog with us, and there is absolute no mowed area around the house. While the manager was very attentive and helpful, someone of authority should visit the house check on all the normal maintenance needed.

2nd time staying here

The first time went much better! I’m not sure if we will rent this property again. I couldn’t get any communication from host when I asked for a late checkout, weeks before our stay. The front door lock does NOT work and you have to walk up the stairs by the deck and go in that door. The master bath ceiling started leaking once it started snowing, looks like it’s been an issue for a bit. At 10AM the morning of our departure, a man came out to look at hot tub & remarked “foul”. I wished I had paid more attention before everyone soaked in there. Now we are treating my daughter for a stye. I’m really sad this was so disappointing. I really like this property & it has a great location. I hope they can remedy these issues & make this right.

Fresh Powder for Days

This is a great house for families. Everything you need for a stay in the mountains and close to everything. Awesome views and neighborhood and easy access from the highway. Over 4 feet of snow came during our stay and it was cold! Someone came to plow the circle drive and in front of the garage each morning. We had to shovel the steps from the house down to the garage/driveway. We were glad to have access to a garage with all the snow. The hot tub was an excellent bonus! Only recommendation would be curtains in the bedrooms. The windows are drafty on the lower level and curtains would help with heat and brightness. We would gladly stay again.

Steamboat stay

Two adult friends and I reserved this home for a 1 week stay near Steamboat Springs for a ski vacation. When we arrived for check-in at the appropriate time, we found that the house had not been cleaned after the previous occupants. I called VRBO, and the representative promptly arranged for a cleaning crew to come and clean the house. There had been a miscommunication. It was resolved, but we did need to vacate the premises for 2 hours. The cleaning crew did a fine job.Our stay was enjoyable, and the house was well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and all was in working order. The house is showing it's age with some areas of water damage (master bathroom) and several knobs missing from drawers and window cranks. The house could use some renovation. Our only other criticism was that there were somewhat steep steps leading from the parking area by the garage to the front door. These were quite icy and proved treacherous. At other VRBO properties that I have stayed at in the past, the walkways were shoveled and salted. Here, we did the best we could to shovel and chip away the ice ourselves.Overall, I gave it four stars and would stay here again with my male friends for a guys' trip. We did agree that we would likely not stay here with our spouses for a couples trip.

Wonderful mountain home and we were lucky to get fresh snow for the tubing hill about 20-30 minute drive away. Everything we needed was there. The views are postcard worthy. As others have mentioned, the driveway deserves careful attention with the presence of snow/ice. There are many supplies to help, but take good care and try to arrive in daylight.

Girls weekend getaway!

We loved the serene area of where the home was located, just off Rabbit Ears Pass. It was tucked away/cozy in the aspens with a nice deck to enjoy the outdoor space. However, the outdoor space could use some updating like sanding the deck/new patio furniture and maybe an umbrella/shade. We would have liked to spend more time out there, but when we went the weather was very warm so the direct sun moved us back indoors. The layout of the home with beds/rooms and 3 bathrooms w showers, offers plenty of space for adults to sleep well and have their own space. The dining area is large and the living space was perfect for card games and hanging out. The kitchen is a bit tight to be cooking/moving around, but we made it work. Plenty of parking for our cars and only about 10-15 to mainstreet. Overall, great rental home for a long weekend in steamboat!

Great place for a group stay

Beautiful location with spectacular views. Our group consisted of 7 adults. We appreciated that there was lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped. It was an easy drive to the ski resort.
