My grandmother had planned to use the king-sized bed downstairs; however, I realized she would hurt herself if she need to use the bathroom at night. The drop-down stairs to the second floor bedroom were in the way of her door....

"Leider wurde eine Nebenkostenabrechnung für Wasser und Strom verlangt.Wobei für 6 Nächte(ohne Saunabenutzung)angeblich ca 65 Euro Strom anfielen.Nach unserer Kritik einigten wir uns auf die Hälfte.Für den Wasserverbrauch wurden 10 Euro berechnet.Haben wir so noch nie erlebt.Sonst war alles ok.6NächteNächte"

"Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Ferienhaus war sauber, ordentlich und gemütliche Betten, das Bad ist schon groß und das 2. seperate WC war super. Der Kontakt mit en Besitzern war schnell und unproblematisch "

Hazardous, outdated and dirty.

"Took up to an hour for the owner to arrive to give us the key into the home. I called the provided number twice to be hung up on (as I only speak English). The owner was able to bring a younger adult to translate. The home is mostly advertised for its hot tub and sauna. My grandmother had planned to use the king-sized bed downstairs; however, I realized she would hurt herself if she need to use the bathroom at night. The drop-down stairs to the second floor bedroom were in the way of her door. If you were to stay upstairs (only twin beds available), you would have to leave the stairs lowered as there was no way to reel the stairs back up once up there to sleep. There were little to no blankets. Available duvets and pillow cases smelt of body odor, and were extremely outdated. We traveled far and couldn’t bring our own blankets, unfortunately. If we had stayed, my 81 year old grandmother would have froze at night."

"My stay at the Arkadenhaus hotel was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hotel manager. Despite my limited understanding of German, the manager went above and beyond to help me find the places I wanted to visit. Their patience and dedication made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but it was the manager's extra effort that really stood out. I highly recommend the Arkadenhaus for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive stay."
