"This is a beautiful home. It’s a great house for large groups, friendly for both kids and adults. Each bedroom is spacious with its own full bathroom and the majority have a desk. We found the master bedroom king bed comfortable and overall everyone slept great. The basement bunk room is very convenient if you have a group of kids or a large amount of adults. The air conditioning was wonderful in the summer and a few fans in some of the rooms was a nice addition as well. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Not only could we cook a variety of large meals, but there were also plenty of dishes for us to use. Between the table and barstools you can very comfortably sit 16 people but easily squeeze in more. There is a very large pantry so everything you bring is not overwhelming the space. The living room has two huge sectionals which offer plenty of comfortable seating to wrap up with a blanket and watch the fire, TV, or the deer and cows outside. There are two expansive decks to be able to sit outside, one with a propane fire. The hot tub is nearby and a perfect way to start or end your day. The full time tenant and FedEx operation that is connected to this property did not cause us any issues - as the parking, view, and outside space does not face the same direction. The property host was friendly and attentive. It’s located in Thompson Falls with walking distance to Harvest Foods & Family Dollar and you can drive to the river in a matter of minutes."

"We truly enjoyed our stay, and the views are absolutely spectacular. Each day we were treated to the sight of twin fawns bedding down near the reservoir, beavers swimming back and forth, and an abundance of waterfowl—it was a wonderful setting to relax and unwind.The location is excellent, just an easy one-block walk to everything downtown has to offer. It's also a short, pleasant walk across the dams to the island, where you'll find even more breathtaking views.One thing worth noting for older guests or anyone with mobility concerns: the main sleeping area is upstairs and requires using an exterior staircase to access the bathroom, and the loft is reached by a ladder. It wasn't an issue for us, but it's something future guests may want to consider when booking.Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would gladly stay here again."

"I had a fantastic stay at this lovely one-bedroom garage apartment. The setting is incredibly quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful woods with windows looking out over a garden where we frequently saw deer. While you don't get direct mountain or river views, the tranquil forest atmosphere more than makes up for it.The space was comfortable and spacious, though the bed is on the extra-firm side. A huge plus for me was the full-size stove, which was a lifesaver for preparing baked potatoes for a family gathering. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!"
