"Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour."

"Beautiful property just a 10-minute walk from Hvar Town and 15min walk to the beach. Beautifully decorated, with a stunning balcony and lovely sea views. The host gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and took the time to point out where the nearby restaurants and beaches were. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Hvar. We would happily stay here again!"

"Great location, spotless villa, would stay again! Villa Valentina in Bol was the perfect base for our stay. The great room was spacious and beautifully done, and the location couldn’t be beat. The villa was spotless throughout, and the pool was gorgeous. The kitchen was a great size, which made cooking easy, and the balcony was a lovely spot to relax and take in the views. Laundry service was a great touch too. We’d absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a good stay, but there were ants everywhere in the apartment. They didn’t bother us too much, but you had to be careful where you left food. The beach is close, but the way back is very steep, so you Get a little workout. The apartment was quiet, clean and spacious. "We had an amazing stay at Hotel Podstine during our honeymoon and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The included breakfast was one of the highlights. There was a great selection, including some really unique and interesting options that went well beyond the typical hotel breakfast. The restaurant on site was also excellent, which made it really convenient to have a great meal without having to go anywhere. Our room situation had a bit of a mishap due to an Expedia booking error, which was completely outside of Podstine’s control. That said, the staff went above and beyond to make it right and gave us two complimentary 30 minute massages. We really appreciated how they handled the situation. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and the swimming is fantastic. The hotel is also close enough to the Old Town that you can easily walk there, while still feeling peaceful and removed from the busier areas. We stayed in the annex and had an incredible ocean view from our balcony. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, Podstine made our honeymoon in Hvar even more special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Hotel has lovely facilities. Rooms were nice but nothing fancy. What makes this place is the lovely grounds, pool, and restaurant area. There are lots of lounges, both around the pool and at the beach. A pleasant walk into Stari Grad town, 10-15 mins. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. Free exercise class just OK. Hot tubs need improvement. Overall, this place is a lovely resort and I recommend it."
