「This was the perfect house to stay in while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Only a short drive from one of the entrances, it made our day trips to the park much more manageable (with a baby and two dogs!). Loved the trees and the stream behind the house. Also, we forgot a few things after we left and were told immediately by the host, who offered to ship them for us. SO kind and appreciated. Overall, 5 stars. 「We have a group of 6 friends who have been getting together for a long golf weekend in the Shenandoah Valley for 29 years. We discovered the Massanutten Resort for accommodations 8-10 years ago, but the house that we had been renting wasn't available this year. We were delighted to find Dukes Den and even more delighted with the stay. We will certainly try to stay there again next year and would highly recommend it to others (just not our week, lol)!」

「Great spot for our girls getaway! Very remote with fantastic views. Front deck was wonderful for morning coffee and sunset watching! Definitely requires a truck or SUV for the road up. Lots of extra towels and plenty of space for all! Great spot! 」

「Location is perfect as we were staying to visit Luray caverns. House was bigger than expected and rooms were a decent size. Beds were also very comfortable. The walk to the river was easy and beautiful (we drove to the chairs). Being slightly ocd the inside of the house could use a deep cleaning, lots of dust! But overall we had the best time.and would stay here again! 」

「The house is beautiful, just as described. I’ve never stayed at a better stocked house, the kitchen has everything you need. Did you forget something, the upstairs closet has all the little things and was very thoughtfully put together. 「The house was perfect for our extended family. The host provided plenty of kitchen items as well as extra toilet paper, bathroom and kitchen soaps, soap for the dishwasher and washing machine as well as all the linens. We have rented many houses in the past and never had a sharp knife in the kitchen but this one did. The free passes for activities at the resort was an added bonus. Very clean as well as stocked. The only suggestion is for the host to update the binder with current information.」

「It was good over all but the under the pull out bed and the bed was drity and trash underneath. The deck railing need to be fixed very lose and screws are coming out .we had to go out and buy hornet's spray they were every where outside and two got in the house. 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and the views from the front porch were stunning! The kids loved the outdoor space as well as the theatre room. 「We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub.
