"A nice modern hotel. Clean and comfortable on a main road that will allow you to travel out to a bunch of different riding and hiking spots conveniently. Staff were friendly and as mentioned it was lovely and clean. Only recommendation would be to bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and you happen to be in a room looking out on to the road. The windows are thick but seemingly not enough to block out noise from passing vehicles. "

"Wonderful room in a good location to the Botanical Gardens. Cosy, all amenities including toiletries and lovely fresh pastries with beverages in the morning. Highly recommend. You might get noisy students outside the building in the night though!"

"The house was spacious and comfortable, and ideal for our long family weekend. Cake bread and milk on arrival was a lovely bonus. The kitchen is well served with plenty of pots and pans, utensils, cutlery, china and glasses.It is situated near the centre of the charming Hathersage village, with pubs, restaurants, takeaways and a great bakery all within a short walk. The two parking spaces were very useful. Parking is at a premium in the centre of the village, although there is a public car park a few minutes walk from the house.The countryside around is fantastic, with plenty of scenic walks available.We are looking forward to returning!"

"The food was excellent (dinner and breakfast). Lovely garden area to sit out with a drink. Room and bathroom were very clean with plenty of hot water. The only slight negative was that the room was too hot overnight, despite having the window open. A lovely stay. I would definitely return. "

"Very nice cottage right on top of the famous butcher shop.Easy acces to everything.The river at the entrance gives you a relaxing mood and its very quite at night eventhough it next to the busy street.We’ve got everything we need and the owner is very communicative.The cottage needs dusting that make me sneeze all the time but other than that,we have a lovely time.thank you"
