「What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...

「We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble.     Taken from Ashopton Viaduct on the A57 Snake Pass Road, nice views back towards Fairholmes Visitor Centre from which we set off on a circular 5.5 mile walk. This is just about halfway now and still a nice day, with views in all directions. Nice!
