「Ideally situated for my boat trips. Room good size clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Good choice for evening meals. Staff friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for my whale trips. Only minor thing which wasn't great was that on one morning I was out before breakfast and the hotel supplied a 'pack up'. This consisted of a packet of crisps, a biscuit and bottle of water. 」

「Check in and locating the house we’re really easy with great arrival information from the owner. The house had everything we needed with lots of space. We were very comfortable and the private space to park at the top of the village was a great help. A fantastic location in the village.」

「Great location for sure, and this is a wonderful location. But… the house was for sale and I wonder if this has impacted some of the cleaning (cobwebs, filthy microwave and rusting knives). The biggest issue was construction going on next door and not being made aware this was taking place in advance (otherwise we would have cancelled). Lots of scaffold over windows, and banging/music going on - this would have been in place for several days/weeks. Stayed here before and love this place but this...

「Lovely house in great location - had everything you needed in the kitchen and property even including a colection of crabbing buckets and nets that the children loved. Staithes itself is beautiful and a real hidden gem - the house could not be in a more central location. 」

Books, games , maps were provided at the cottage.The location is fantastic for walks and visits to other places on the north yorks coast.We would definitely return.」
