"Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. "It was a pleasant experience. The whole concept of the Ridge is a great idea. The atmosphere was very peacefully. I was traveling alone and was a little concerned at times. The other door that doesn’t lock was quite concerning. The water pressure and Wi-Fi were the only bad things I can say but in the scheme of things, compared to 1850 it was luxurious. I would stay again but not alone."

"We enjoyed our stay at Spy Hill house. It was a quick stop-over on a long drive and such a great option instead of a hotel room. Everything we needed was there. Good blend of historic plus modern comfort, close to the interstate but private with trees and the pond out back. We were grateful for a local restaurant that delivered pizza so we didn't have to go out again; we also ordered the breakfast basket and it was amazing! So much food - all of it delicious!"
