A few kilometers from the Jade Bay, the air smells of meadows and the North Sea, the landscape is shaped by the tides and the power of nature. The nearest larger cities are Wilhelmshaven (40 km), Oldenburg (35 km) and Nordenham (20 km). You can reach the dyke of the Jade Bay in about 15 minutes by bike. To the west, the town of Varel with a few shops and restaurants is about ten kilometers away, to the east you reach the Weser after about 13 kilometers.
