"Accommodation was not what I expected. First the email I received on booking Discovery resort said the restaurant was closed Sundays so we group food to cook but cooking facilities were terrible and we found out the restaurant was open on Sundays so we had wasted our food. Checkin person seemed very grumpy and did not provide much information. Our cabin was very basic and our bed felt like the springs were coming through. It was very uncomfortable. We did not sleep at all. Would not recommend this resort"

"Although updated and clean, and good budget rooms, the walls are not soundproof and there was a locked door between rooms with gaps. Could hear everyone's toiletting and conversations, door slamming etc.. View from room was over the bay but the industrial wharf site and wood chip pile was in front of the bay."

"Looks like it has been newly refurbished. Our room was beach facing with a lovely balcony. TBH we were so surprised how good it was. Everything was new and clean. Big swivel tv and lovely faux fireplace."

"Peppers Cradle Mountain was amazing! The setting was beautiful, the cabins so warm and cosy, the lodge reception area was really inviting, and the nature walks around the lodge were stunning. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for two perfect nights. The meals at the tavern are really great and well priced too."
