Beautiful views, complete comfort

We loved on the rocks! Views were spectacular and the villa is so private! We had a hard time leaving the property as it’s as beautiful as any other beach we wanted to visit. Highly recommend and hopefully we’ll be back soon!

On the Rocks

Overall it was a great experience with breathtaking views. Very secluded, private and quiet other than the waves crashing on the rocks below. Loved every minute of the stay.

Beautiful Villa and View

Impressive property on a cliff overlooking the ocean with an outstanding view. Beautifully decorated rooms and a wrap-around deck providing a 180-degree view. The property manager was very accessible and responsive. The location definitely requires vehicle and be cautioned the roads leading to the villa are a bit challenging to negotiate.

Our stay was excellent. The house is a little hard to figure out where it is the first time but once you are there, you’ve got it and nobody else. Great place for couples just trying to get away.

The Villa On The Rocks is Incredible

Our week long stay at the Villa was far beyond our expectations. It was furnished beautifully, immaculately clean and stocked with everything and anything that we would hope for and MORE .... like the flippers and snorkel, beach chairs and the umbrella, etc. The views from anywhere in the house and from the porch were spectacular, and watching the boats and the movement of the water from the daybed outside of the bedroom was the peak of relaxation.

It was the peaceful, private paradise I had hoped it would be! Although next time we will rent a jeep or vehicle that can handle the hairpin turns and steep drive to the villa.

Million dollar views

This place exceeded our expectations. The house was cozy and comfortable. The views were spectacular and made it hard to leave. This was a gated community which was a great and made you feel safe. With this being said would 100% recommend this place.

AMAZING!

The pictures of the house don't do it justice! The views are amazing, the house is beautifully decorated and the owner, Dennis, was super responsive and helpful from before I booked our vacation to the end of it! I 100% would recommend this house to any couple traveling to St. Thomas as I don't think you will find a more perfect house on the island. I cannot wait to go back and stay here again!

Peaceful, private luxury

This was our third trip to St Thomas and our first visit to On the Rocks Villa. What a wonderful find! The villa itself is beautiful and comfortable. The views are breathtaking. The pool was the perfect place to relax. As others have commented, the drive through the neighborhood is not easy, but just go slowly through the 3 switchbacks and you will arrive in paradise! We would love to come back.

Paradise!

Just what we were looking for! The perfect combination of seclusion and unbeatable ocean views. Comfortable and clean with all the right spots to relax and enjoy paradise. We cooked several meals and enjoyed them on the patio while watching the waves crash against the rocks. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. A truly spectacular and unforgettable vacation!

Fabulous escape!

On the Rocks is an incredible, out-of-the way gem. We spent the first day just relaxing and taking in the spectacular views. Magen’s Bay Beach and snorkeling at Koki’s beach were lovely, but the highlight was the property. Dennis was quick to respond to the few questions we had. We will be back!

Blessed Vacation!

We SO enjoyed the view! We purchased groceries/wine at Moe’s, per the owner’s suggestion (spot on), and had such a relaxing time we didn’t leave for days! Hall Bay Beach was a fav for snorkeling, fish tacos and beach relaxing! The pool was splendid and the home is so beautiful and very well supplied! (Rent a small, powerful vehicle for the switchbacks; no joke!) Many thanks to Dennis!

Spectacular view!

This place is pretty magical! We felt like we had the Caribbean to ourselves. The view is incredible and you see no one! The pool was refreshing and we loved waking up early to the sunrises. Dennis and Esther were very accommodating hosts. TIP: rent a 4x4 Jeep from Dexter Car rental. It will come in handy getting in and out of the driveway. Would definitely stay again!!

Secluded get a way

An amazing property on the side the mountain. Nicely appointed house with all the necessities you need. Location is good. Definitely need a car. Many spots to relax and enjoy the wonderful views. Don’t forget bug spray. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance. Doors and windows do not lock. Something we did not know. Don’t bring valuables.

Relaxing Stay at the On The Rocks Property!

We stayed for eight nights in April and found the weather to be just about perfect, with temps ranging from the mid to low 80s. The home matched the online listing exactly—no surprises. It sits near the top of the cliff, and the steady sound of the waves made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The pool was clean and well-kept, and the bed and pillows were comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s rest. The bedroom AC did the job and kept things cool. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make meals, and the home overall was set up well for a longer stay. The property is located in a gated community, and at no time did we feel anything other than safe. The views were beautiful, and the whole place had a calm, laid-back feel. Working with Tressa from Bliss Properties was a smooth process from start to finish. If you’re heading down that way, do yourself a favor and rent a Jeep—you’ll be glad you did. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway.

Great house for a honeymoon.

We had a great time there. The view is absolutely amazing. We rented a car and drove ourselves, which I don't recommend. Cell service cuts out leaving you with no gps and not knowing how to get out of the neighborhood. All that aside, the property manager was great and helped us every step of the way. The house is stocked beautifully with all you could need. Its extremely private and all you can hear are birds and the waves of the ocean at night. Magen’s beach is very close and easy to get to. Great beach to visit. We had a great time and would like to go back someday.

Unforgettable views

We sure miss our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the amazing ocean views from On The Rocks Villa. We saw turtles from the deck and were very fortunate to see 2 whales swimming right out front of the villa. We spent 2 weeks at this beautiful home. I won’t lie, the drive to the villa is challenging but once you find it and practice the 3 very sharp and steep turns to the villa you will slowly get more comfortable. You definitely need to rent a vehicle. We rented a jeep. The villa is well equipped with most everything you’d need. We used the beach chairs and cooler every day. You might want to bring insulated cups, they only supply glass. They supply plenty of drinking water and an ice maker. They also supply plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex. Shampoo, conditioner, and bath wash are also supplied. The main living area does not have a/c but all of the doors and windows open and there are ceiling fans. It wasn’t an issue for us. The bedroom has a/c which was helpful. The bed was comfortable and waking up to those views were unforgettable. We spent plenty of nights in and one day we stayed and used the pool. Or else we explored the islands beaches and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at On The Rocks Villa and enjoyed St Thomas.

Positives: Dennis is great and responds very promptly. We had some storms come through and he even checked in on us and made sure we were good. Power went out but house has a generator that kicked in after about a minute of power loss. The view is AMAZING. Pictures do not do it justice. The house is very private and you about feel like you are on an island on your own. Very short drive to Megan’s bay. Suggest you google St Thomas cruise calendar and pick dates with as few cruises as possible but you can still beat the crowd either way. Seating and bed are very comfortable. Negatives: Air conditioning is in bed room only. So living room and kitchen will be hot. The drive getting out is doable with a car but HIGHLY suggest renting a Jeep. You will need the tight turn radius and power. Overall: Nothing that would keep me away from going back. If I booked another trip to St Thomas this would be the first place to see if it is available.

The Perfect Honeymoon Destination

On The Rocks really is better than the pictures! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in the middle of June, and we could not have picked a better place. The USVI is a really unique honeymoon destination that rivals the best of the Caribbean. The view from the villa is amazing. The villa is extremely private (you're the only ones on the property). Dennis is quick to respond and happy to help with any questions or requests. The villa was stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, plenty of drinking water, soap shampoo and conditioner, and everything you need in a kitchen. We made two trips to Moe's grocery store and cooked every meal except two dinner dates; we even had steaks on the grill. St. Thomas has lots to do and see. We rented a jeep from Amalie Car Rentals (highly recommend!). It was easy to drive around St. Thomas and St. John. Magen's Bay and Mermaid's Chair were our favorite spots on St. Thomas (Mermaid's Chair was the most beautiful place I have ever seen). We ferried to St. John and hiked to Honeymoon Beach, which had the best snorkeling of the whole trip. It rained once during the week we were there, but the weather was perfect the rest of the time. We had a week full of things to do and places to go, and we figured out how to do a lot of it for free or at a very low cost. We still spent plenty of time enjoying the view, the pool, and the privacy of the villa. On The Rocks is the perfect honeymoon spot if you want an easy, private, enjoyable trip.

Beautiful house and location

The house itself is very beautiful, nicely decorated, and very private. The scenery around is breathtaking. The pool is relaxing and the perfect temperature. We spent a lot of time in it. The house has everything you might need. The owner is very very nice and communicated well. He checked in on us several times which we greatly appreciated. The drive to the house is basically on the side of a tall hill and has several very steep switchbacks with sheer drop offs on one side. It was nerve wracking getting to and leaving the house each day. It took us 3 days to get comfortable with it. But that’s probably to be expected if you want a remote and private house. The bedroom is air conditioned, but the living room/kitchen area isn’t. The temperature of the bedroom was comfortable. We were there in July, and the humidity was very high. With all the fans on in the living room/kitchen area, it was still pretty warm. The only thing we thought was odd is there are 2 large windows in the bedroom without glass, only screens and shutters. These are the only windows with no glass in the whole house. At night you can hear all of the insects and birds. It was hard to sleep the first night, but we got used to it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Privacy in paradise

Our stay at On the Rocks was unforgettable. Waking up to those incredible views every morning was a dream, and having our own pool made the experience even better.
