This particular space was located up a floor and overlooked a 2nd building (so not an ocean view per se, but convenient to the pool and road to town). The unit was clean and access was straightforward. We had written asking about timing, but ended up having to communicate off-platform, which was a first red flag.
Kitchen was functional but awkward - an outlet without a cover was right over the sink, but the only place to plug in for coffee/toaster. (Patio outlets were not functional and had broken covers, also).
Patio furniture was rusted (bench was broken and we are glad we saw that prior to sitting.) Internet was out when we arrived, to find out from the host that the modem belonged to a neighbor, so they needed to be contacted to reset. We had frequent outages after that, which resolved themselves over time.
The USVI has frequent power outages - something we are used to - but there were no flashlights or battery light sources, and no alternative power for the unit. We were advised “There “should” be a flashlight under the TV. But they disappear all the time. What you can do, is take an extension cord and plug it into hallway and then in lamp”
Overall it felt like one of many rentals owned and cared for at the least expense and detail, so we would choose to rent elsewhere next time.
