Our stay started out very nice, except that the weather decided to be much cooler than we hoped. The unit was clean, neat and comfortable. It's a great location and beautiful view of the gulf, with direct access.Everything was fine until Sunday when we returned but were unable to enter the unit as the keypad would no longer recognize our access code. We did not have success logging into the VRBO app on our phone. Tried calling several different phone #'s with no response. One # stated that their Premier Customer Service is staffed 7 days a week from 9AM to 6PM EST. The message goes on to say if this is an emergency call for no AC or Lockout press 1 to talk to an agent. Pressing 1 only led to a voice mail box. Left several messages. We started around 3PM and finally got an answer, at a different #, after 7PM. The solution was actually quite quick and simple. But getting to it was inexcusably long. Over 4 hours.So, if you don't need assistance, this is a 5 star stay. Unfortunately, we did need assistance and are quite disappointed in what was required of us to get it. We lost out on doing anything that day while we tried to get access to the lodging we had paid for, and our belongings inside.

Beautiful view!

I liked the place I stayed in (unit 1). It was super cute and basically as described in photos. The bedroom appeared a little larger in the photos, but there was plenty of room. The view is amazing and aside from the weather being a little stormy at times, I couldn’t have asked for a better staycation. A few suggestions I have would be the shower could use a bath mat in the tub - it’s a little slick. The little fan provided needs to be replaced. You can put your hand directly in front of it and it barely blows any air out. I needed it for the bedroom because I’m a “hot” sleeper and the a/c just didn’t quite keep me cool enough. A ceiling fan would work as well. Although the bedding was super cute, the sheets are a very thin microfiber that absolutely does not breathe. Needless to say due to my already “hot’ sleeping problem this made it 10x worse. I honestly would have bought sheets myself if I was staying a little longer. Lastly, beach towels would be a nice touch. I forgot mine and had to go buy one because I didn’t think taking the white towels from the bathroom would be allowed. Please understand that none of these things would prevent me from wanting to stay here again in the future. Overall, I would give it a 9 out of 10. I didn’t have contact with management but I did speak to one of the cleaning girls and she was very nice and helpful with directions to the nearby grocery store.

beware of property management

2 weeks before check in i was notified that there would be work taking place while we were there but everything would still be available for us but our patio was not livable due to debris falling on us. there was also an electrical contractor who said they needed to get inside no communication from the local team to confirm and then the contractor told us the power would be cut off the following day we made several attempts to reach out for communication with property manager but never received a call from them. we were put out for 2 full days and severely put out while on vacation i have booked thru verbo but when thy let vacasa manage my stay the wheels fell off. i am extremely disappointed with my experience

Perfect Location

Property was in the perfection location. Beach right outside our sliding glass door. Access to kayaks was a bonus. A/C was kind of loud. Owners could've supplied us with a box of tissues and some other kind of hand soap (another bar or a liquid), but pretty minor considering the location was magnificent.

MN family sick of winter

We loved our stay! Best part: right on the beach with access to chairs, kayaks, etc. The location to restaurants and shops with walking distance was an added bonus. The condo is small but exactly as described. Very clean. We can’t wait to return!!

Good place for the money

It’s my first time using a vrbo rental place and although location was great, they fall short in comfort. Unit was cramped, bedsheets was horrible. It would have been nice to sleep in some cotton bedding instead of the cheap polyester sheets that the place used. Overall it was a positive experience and wouldn’t mind trying it again next time in maybe another location.

Nice area, quiet place

Great stay. Had a lot of rules attached with fines. There is only one parking space, so plan on coming in one car. Clean and the beach is right out your back door.

Cut corners, small details missed, thankful for the beach

For the price we paid for this rental - there were a few disappointments. Upon arrival, a parking pass is not provided. You’re expected to print one at home and bring it with you on your travels. However, there is a provided tip envelope for house keeping and a printed review sheet. Seems silly not to provide a printed parking pass for your guests. All the lamps throughout the bedroom and living room were unplugged and one didn’t work at all. Plugs throughout the property were only 2 prong plugs. There weren’t enough plugs throughout the property, specifically in bedroom and behind the TV. A multi-plug is provided to use but it’s a 3-prong plug so it wouldn’t work with only 2-prong wall plugs. The kitchen sink faucet only worked on spray mode and about 1/3 of normal water pressure. The mini oven/stove was nice, but the baking sheet provided didn’t fit inside. The queen bed was very uncomfortable, noisy with any movement and very hot. The promised cruiser bikes that are advertised so nice and in good shape, were actually in terrible and unsafe condition. The bikes need to be replaced. The seats were falling off, tires flat, chains loose, etc. Teeming Vacations did send someone to fix these bikes after 3 days, but still did not fully fix them. Some of the tires still flat and loose unsafe chains. My husband asked the technician if he tightened the chains and the technician told my husband that the chains didn’t need to be tightened and proceeded to shake his head and mouth some things to himself as my Husband walked away. Thank goodness for the ocean and the beach. If it weren’t for the location of the property, it would have been a pretty disappointing stay. The beach is beautiful and walking right out onto the beach was awesome. At the end of the day, we spent a lot of money (over 2 mortgage payments) to have a nice 5-night stay on the ocean. With the amount of money being charged for these rentals, corners shouldn’t be cut and minor details should be in place. We travel a lot and hardly ever leave bad feedback - but when your hard earned money is taken advantage of, it’s disappointing.

Most relaxing vacation I’ve been on!

My daughter and I loved this property when we found it on VRBO. It was a little out of our price range, but we loved it so much we booked it anyway. The property was even better than we had hoped it would be. We arrived early on the day of our check-in. The gentleman we met went out of his way to help us upon our arrival even though we were early. We loved the quiet beach, the quiet property, and the area. The parking spot was difficult to pull out of, but we were so content we didn’t want to leave often. We’re already looking at dates for our next trip.

We stayed in Indian Shores for a quick winter get-away. The vacation rental was spotless. The location right off the beach was fantastic & just what I was looking for. We had a question with our TV remote and the property manager answered promptly. We had a fun time and hope to return again soon !

Perfect!

We had an amazing time! The room and entire property were very clean and well kept. We enjoyed using the umbrellas, bicycles, fire pit, coolers and ice that are provided. The lights that hang on the patio are a nice added touch. We are planning our next trip and cannot wait to go back!

We love Bungalow Beach Place

We were happy to return to BBP again this year, this time with our children, their spouses, our grandson, and a dear friend. Everyone had their own unit and that worked well for our group. There were a few maintenance issues when we arrived, but they were addressed quickly. We love the beachfront property and love that it's equipped with most anything you could need. Paddleboards, kayaks, beach chairs and umbrellas, toys left behind from other visitors, grills (gas included), washers and dryers, professional ice machine, patio tables for outdoor dining, Adirondack chairs around the firepit (wood included) and more!

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The condo and property amenities were lovely and the location is prime. We spent every day on the beach and had an absolute blast using the sea kayaks and the kids loved playing with the beach toys supplied to all guests.

Horrible, not able to stay

Property failed to communicate that beach was not safe or accessible due to red tide, air was not safe to breathe in the area. Therefore we could not stay at any of our 3 rooms (they only have 9). They do not refund or give you any type of credit. Tried emailing, got ignored. Stay in a reputable hotel, one that stands behind their rentals. This place is nice if everyone goes well, but if something goes wrong they don’t care about you, your vacation or the money they charged you which by the way, they are expensive, we’re not talking about a moderate rate, they are very expensive for what you get. The only amenity is the beach and that was not available, horrible smell of hundreds of dead fish all over the sand. Choose wisely before you decide to stay at Bungalow Beach!!!

Great place!!

Such a great stay! Highly recommend. Beautiful view. Private. Bed and pull out couch very comfy. Dishes available and pans to cook. We used the grill and the the beach toys and chairs. Would have used the fire pit if it wasn’t so hot. Literally an amazing place!!

Birthday date with my husband

This was our first vacation by ourselves sans children as we pretty much started a family weeks into meeting each other (when you know, you know- no it wasn’t an accident). As amazing as it was, it didn’t leave us much time to wine and dine each other on vacations. This was the perfect get away: peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Much needed break from the realities of parenthood! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Right on the beach!

We were looking for a place right on the beach and this place delivered as advertised. A limited number of units, so it was quiet and never felt crowded. Enjoyed seeing the beach from our unit, having the table and grill outside our door, a nice firepit steps away in the sand, and lots of lounge chairs to take down to the beach with us. Would definitely stay again!

Great place! Management needs improvement

Stayed here 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience! Was very much looking forward to my return visit. When I arrived, there were a couple of maintenance issues (kitchen faucet, door handle) which I promptly reported (not sure why housekeeping didn't report and assure these were corrected). I received no response to 3 messages sent to TeemingVR. Eventually saw someone doing general property maintenance so approached them and my issues were promptly corrected. Turns out it was the property owner, who never identified themselves as such. Property owner was on site the rest of my stay, along with other family, and never once identified as such, asked how I was enjoying my stay, asked if I needed anything. In fact, at one point I was stopped by another member of owner family and asked if I was a resident of another property. Again, no identification of who they were, no question about how I liked my stay, if I needed anything, etc. Very disappointed in this behavior and has put a bad taste in my mouth for this very lovely property.
