Our city stretches less than three miles along the Gulf of Mexico and, like its neighboring barrier islands, waterfront property faces either the Gulf or the Intracoastal Waterway. At some points along this narrow piece of land you can even view both bodies of water.

A quiet town of approximately 4,000, Indian Rocks Beach was initially developed in the 1920’s as a weekend getaway destination for wealthy inland Florida residents. Its 2.7 miles of beachfront are popular with all ages and between its array of motels and condominiums there are more than 20 convenient beach access points.

Clean well maintained property

Close to the beach, about a block walk. Place was very clean and the ac worked great! The master bedroom isa little warnerFully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Easy check in and check out. Wish checkout was 1hr later.

We stayed for 3 days. The bathtub had hair (not ours) and a small piece of trash, no curtain in window in shower (people working in building nextdoor), shower curtain and rod fell down, curtain in one room would not close (had to change in the closet), washing machine did not work, kitchen sink faucet was loose, door to enter was difficult to figure out, noisy road. On the bright side, good accessories for beach going and great restaurants nearby.

This place is steps away from the beach! Great location! The internet/TV didnt work during our short stay but understandable because of the hurricanes. Bring a bag of ice as there is not an ice maker in the freezer. Place was clean and again a great location.

Great condo

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed condo. It was squeaky clean. The location was perfect, right across the street from beach access and walking distance to restaurants and bars and a park with pickleball courts. Highly recommend.

It was just as we were expecting it to be! Open, airy, and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing, spending hours at the gorgeous beach, & walking a short distance to have a fabulous dinner at Guppy's on the Beach. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect for a long weekend

Super easy access with clear instructions, timely communication from the manager, and the property was precisely as photographed and described. Loved the balcony for relaxing! Serenity in close proximity to the beach and a few restaurants was perfect; much preferred over the chaos and grit of Clearwater Beach. Only complaint is the noise from the tenants above our unit moving around at all hours — it disrupted our sleep. Overall, very pleased with our stay and would return!

Indian rocks beach

We stayed for a month. Great location, tv in all rooms. Limited kitchen utensils. When we booked we assumed that unit 2b was the top floor. We had loud walking and noise above us in 1b, which we could have managed if it wasn’t early in the morning and at night. The property manager was very professional and helpful.

Outdated and desperately needing upgrades

The property listing stated on the beach which it was not, which I should have read more reviews and I would’ve known that. The location is across the street from the beach with a peek a boo view. The parking was tight and difficult for our older people in the party to maneuver. The overall furnishings were severely outdated and cheap. There were holes in the wall, the flooring in the primary bedroom was coming up, and the doors were peeling and warped in the bathroom. Overall, it is not a place that I would recommend for an extended stay.

Cozy, Convenient Beach Apartment

Across from the Gulf, the apartment was perfect for an extended weekend. There was ample parking under the building and the unit was very clean when we entered (one flight of stairs up). A large deck with plenty of chairs was perfect or sitting & watching the world go by. Loads of windows to let in the light, a nice modern kitchen and comfy beds all worked well for us. A beach wagon, chairs, umbrella and some beach toys were all waiting outside the door for us to use. There were plenty of towels (including beach towels!) and basic supplies (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) The unit was directly across the street from a beach access which was, unfortunately, closed during our visit so we walked 2 short blocks. A couple of restaurants in easy walking distance and many more within a short drive. IRB is generally quiet and there is a LOT to do & see in this part of Florida. Two suggestions: provide lock instructions with the entry code - we had trouble entering & had to call the manager. A few more plates, bowls, utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful too! We had a great time and absolutely would rent this apartment again!

Great location. Clean house. My family of four had a great time. Beach right across the street was clean and quiet. Had everything we needed in the house. Management team was responsive. Will come again. And if you are reviewing this, look into the trolley system. It is great. We didnt need a car all week.
