「The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. 「This hotel has an amazing garden and restaurant but the property itself is in need of some 'love'. Shower screen kept coming off the bath so bathroom flooded, lead flashing still hanging off over a year later. Clean apart from wear and tear. Such a shame because the location and the staff are good」

「Arrived at the hotel after a 4 hour journey, pub was closed. Called the number, member of staff said they’d come down and let us in but then called back 2 minutes later to say no room available. There was also no parking available despite the website saying it has parking available. Still haven’t heard anything about cancellation or refund. Do not recommend!」

「It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful. Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there. Great value for money and we had a lovely stay.」
