Best value around

This hotel was amazing, especially for the price. It's a bit older and I did have an issue with the water kettle, if I tried to use it, the power would go out for like 10 minutes. I could have complained about it but it really wasn't an issue for me. Breakfast was great and the place was very clean. The pool was really nice and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.

A very good hotel

It's a nice hotel and the staff very helpful and friendly. I had a nice room with a balcony. Bathroom s bit oldish and needs updating. The room was big and airy with lots of light. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. I've stayed there a few times in the last 3 months.I will definetly stay there again and would gladly recommend this place. Overall very good hotel.

The hotel is off the beaten track in Qawra, not unusual for many hotels in Malta. Car parking can be a problem. Staff were friendly and courteous. Housekeeping was good. The facilities were fine and the hotel currently is renovating one level, which did not cause any problems during my stay. Good to see that maintenance was being done. The breakfast was fine, only ate in the restaurant once, not the best.

Enjoyed my stay at sunflower hotel

I enjoyed my stay at sunflower hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was a little outdated. The room had a balcony which was nice. Overall the room was clean.

3 estrelas bem agradável

Hotel bastante simpático. Quarto grande e limpo, com duas varandas. Casa de banho também limpa. Colaboradores do hotel disponíveis. Pequeno-almoço nada de especial, mas bom é suficiente. Não fica no centro da cidade, mas vai-se bem a pé e a qualquer hora.

I love the Sunflower Hotel, I have been going for 14yrs. I started going with my grandson, and now I go on my own. It is a great place everyone is so welcoming, it is like a big family now. It is a safe place when you are on your own as they look after you so well, nothing is any bother.

L’hotel è comodo ai servizi perché si trova a circa 10 minuti di camminata dalla stazione dei bus di bugibba, dal mare e da alcuni bar/ ristorante. A mio parere è una struttura per chi viaggia senza tante pretese. Sicuramente il bagno è da rimodernare (la vasca con la tenda proprio non si può vedere). Personale cordiale e sempre disponibile.

Muy buena relación calidad/precio. El personal muy agradable y atento, el desayuno correcto. No me gusto que en toda la habitación solo había dos enchufes, uno como el de España y el otro como el de Malta y los dos en la habitación. En el baño no había ninguno!! Los alrededores del hotel estaban bastante dejados.

Die Anlage ist in einem schlechten Zustand. Quietschende Türen, Rappelnde Klimaanlagen, mit min. 55 dB auf niedrigster Stufe, Schwarz-Schimmel in den Silikonfugen im Bad. Lose Toilette mit einer Spülung, die mindestens 4x abgedrückt werden musste, bevor sie funktionierte. Lieblose Mitarbeiter, die einen nicht mal mit "Hello" begrüßen, sondern stumm an einem vorbei gehen. Ein Frühstück mit 2-3 Wurst-Sorten, 1 Käsesorte, entweder geschmacklosem Rührei oder Spiegelei und dem sonstigen "English-Breakfast" Zubehör. Ach ja - Instantkaffe, der ungenießbar ist...

I'm preagnant and I have been facing some health problems, actually placenta previa problems. And so, my OB doctor has recommended to me not flying. Me and my husband tried to call off the hotel as, unfourtnately, we couldn't travel till the placenta moves up. But, the hotel didn't accept our canceling request. It is a shame. Well, It was not a simple excuse. And we realy wanted to go, but the baby's health is our priority now. As a result of it we can't give a good rank.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were also cleaned and made up nicely every morning. The hotel was okay, but dated and basic... It was definitely a 2 star more than a 3 star. Of course that's probably the norm in somewhere like Malta. All in all, I have no complaints but if you're looking for comfort and a hearty breakfast, this isn't the place.

Good stay in Malta

The hotel is very good. Good meals nice cleaning ladies. They could improve by adding a water boiler and a small fringe to the room equipment. The swimming pool on the roof is amazing. Malda in general is very nice.

Not impressed

Our room was very spacious and clean but had only one European plug and one UK plug so we could only charge one device at a time. For some reason the room assigned didn't have the blind curtains so we would have light in the room very early in the morning. Most of the staff is very unpleasant (but that is common across all country) and they don't allow you to take away water from the breakfast meal even though the water available is filtered (not bottled) and they don't offer any water in the room. The AC in the room was not working and the toilet was broken (but functional). The mattress wasn't the best but it was ok for a couple of nights. The Wi-Fi worked ok most of the times, sometimes it would just stop working but I guess there's a lot of people for the same connection so it is understandable. Breakfast was very limited and not great taste (like the remaining food in Malta). The water on the pool (last floor) was too cold and the water in the indoor pool had too much chlorine. You can find a lot of great restaurants in the area around the hotel. To visit from the hotel i's better if you have a car.
